John McCain was joking around on Morning Joe earlier today about gambling on the baseball playoffs and let loose a verifiably false claim, saying "I'm not a rich man."
Now I know he just trying to say he wasn't a good sports bettor, but if he can fun around, so can I.
So here's the result -- a video, reminding John McCain exactly how rich he really is:

That's the first true thing McCrankyPants has said in, well forever. Any man who is as angry, mean-spirited, deceptive, aggressive and with so little self-respect is not a rich man. Oh, he and Cindy have plenty of money...but rich? No, not even a little bit.
If only I was half as not rich as him.

McCain's personal income, leaving Cindy out of it, was ten times that of an average American.
But then he may have ten times as many houses to support.
Part of that income did come from Social Security. Fortunately, he did not succeed in that into the stock market, so his checks will stay about the same.
McCain personal wealth without Cindy's $100 Million is $34 Million, just by himself. So he lies so much, it's just pathetic. Neither Obama or Biden are rich, neither has a Million dollars. about has about half a Million and Biden has a little bit more. So they are more the average guys than McCain, plus McCain Father and Grandfather were both high ranked in the Navy, so he doesn't know what it is to want for anything. He is out of touch with the everyday American person. I bet Obama has had Romin Noddles before and McCain probably don't know what the heck it is. Heck McCain was just in a 5 Star Restaurant last week for Lunch.
Obama made 4 m last year and over 1.5 the year before and 1m the year before that. I don't begrudge anyone the money they make (honestly) but he's hardly in the Common Joe camp and if you're right and he only has half a million, he's not handling his money very well.
When I heard McCain say this on Morning Joe today I knew it would be a headline.....McSame has been on Morning Joe like three times in a week to ten days....whats up with that!!

Joe is in the tank for McCain...after all, one big bag of wind is bound to want another to succeed.
I don't begrudge the fact that John and Cindy McCain have more money than I'll ever see in my lifetime. We live in a capitalist society and for those that are lucky enough, they make it to financial heights that the majority will not. So be it.
As a registered Independent, I am not voting for McCain because of his policy stances, demonstrated (not "country first") irresponsibility in choosing a running mate that is dreadfully ill-prepared to assume to VP or if necessary, the POTUS role), and, in my view, his frailty due to age and health that may play a role in his ability to capably perform the job of POTUS.
I am not offended that he's rich, but what does offend me is his deliberate lies, exxagerations and anything-to-win attitude.
He's not a rich man. He doesn't need to be. His trophy wife is rich.
A man who cannot tell the truth, cannot have empathy for people who are different from himself, and has no self respect, is truly poor. John McCain is a poor man in every respect.

Ask ME how many houses middle-class me owns... OK, I'll just tell you: one two-bedroom condo with ten years down, twenty to go, dry rot on both decks, and a dishwasher that died three years ago. Oh, and I pay my taxes in full, and on time.
See, now, it takes $5 million in income per year to be "middle-class," and Mc Insane only has a little over $7 million a year, so he's telling the truth, he's NOT rich, and anyone who thinks he is should be waterboarded in Gitmo immediately.
McCain just might be telling the truth otherwise why would he lower himself to taking bribes from Charles Keating? Well of course Cindy's family did come well ahead in that deal and John didn't do to bad by not going to jail.
Can some please ask Panama Juan if he would ask Cindy to give up all her money, to live just on his 100% Disability Pension alone, if by doing so it would mean he would become the greatest president since Lincoln?
John McCain is old so he may not know.
