John McCain was joking around on Morning Joe earlier today about gambling on the baseball playoffs and let loose a verifiably false claim, saying "I'm not a rich man."
Now I know he just trying to say he wasn't a good sports bettor, but if he can fun around, so can I.

I was always told when younger that when a man touts his own accomplishments repeatedly the accomplishments are far less than he claims. With that said, P.O.W. P.O.W. P.O.W.

John McCain has said that anyone who makes less than five million dollars annually is middle class. This means that, if your finances are anything like mine, lucite, we're way below the poverty line.
The truth is, 27% will still vote for him, because of his wealth.
They have fantasies of joining his country club, hobknobing in the locker room, stuff like that...

i'm not surprised by this statement from a guy that thinks $5 million is middle class or restates again after black monday that the fundementals of the economy are sound. this guy must be an alien from another planet.
Wealth is relative. Compared to the people McCan't hangs with he's probably on the bottom of the money heap. He most likely sees himself as an average guy, who does well, but not THAT well.
In his own right he has his navy pension, his veteran's disability pension, his Senate paychedk, his social security and his medical benefits. All paid for by the public. That make his much richer than the average Joe Sixpack.

Thanks so much for the article. What a real stinker he is. I am sending it to all of my pro McCain family and friends. I've had to listen to them tell me all the time how wrong I am for supporting Barack Obama. They have sent me, for months all those bogus emails about Barack. I've spent my time firing back the debunked information. Now its going to be their turn to read some real truths about their hero.
