Palin's "White Flag Of Surrender" Line Falls Flat

Sarah Palin is touting the Surge, and America is apparently not that interested, according to CNN's reaction meter of Ohio uncommitted voters. Dial Line stays flat, flat, flat. Biden touts Obama's plan, the dial line shoots up. Especially at the idea of Iraqis taking responsibility. Women especially like the idea of the Iraqis spending their own money. Timetables get tepid support. Palin's accusation that Obama and Biden are waving the "white flag of surrender" sends the line plummeting.

I assume TypicalRepublicanDotCom, is being ironic, as the conditions he describes are not likely to be seen in our lifetime. The giveaway is the line about Osama bin Laden in Baghdad, as he never ever goes there.

A quick look at the Alaska State Budget, particularly the 2007 report of the state's chief financial officer, is quite illuminating. It indicates that the "country's largest infrastructure project" Palin referred to during the "debate" is a second pipeline which is (1) only in the proposal stage, and (2) has already been tanked by advisors to that state as being inefficient and ill-placed. All the facts are available on-line.
So, a shoutout to the wind-up doll and her handler: your innuendos, half-truths, lies, canned catch-phrases and winks are insulting. You need to shut down this circus sideshow and try to salvage a smidgen of self-dignity.

But she's not running for office and besides her grammar, is about 100 times smarter than this woman. I watched the debate for about the first 45 minutes before I couldn't take anymore of Palin's lies, rehearsed lines, and avoiding the questions asked to tout her ' experience ' in energy. Her ' white flag of surrender ' comment put me over the edge. Her irritating downhome mannerisms and speech didn't help either. And to think she wants to be just like Cheney but with even more power would be a nightmare come true. ( I did watch the replays of the debate ).

I took a look at KitWit's link to a video of Palin with a wire showing over her right shoulder. Also examined some other images of Palin at the debate. Most do not show the ' wire ' but a few do. What the heck is that all about.

She was obviously wearing hair extensions and that could be a hunk of fake hair, as appears to be the case in today's Fox News interview. But it's such a perfect loop in last night's photo and she did have her head down, as if listening, whenever Biden spoke, particularly at the start. Is there any way to analyze the photos of the debate. Maybe another Cone of Silence shenanigan? She was more in the Cone of Inanity, I think.
