My question is, why? Was she trying to woo America?
Or is she trying to pull something over on us?

Once she found out there was no evening gown competition, she had to get that glittery eyeshadow off in a hurry. Some must have gotten in her eye. Poor dear.
Maybe she confused "wink" with "think?" I feel certain she was flirting with the camera to get the male hormone vote but she came across like a woman acting like a teenage flirt rather than a woman who wanted to be Vice President (or President). Also, all that winking made me wonder if she was high, but I don't know her so I can't say for sure one way or the other. Some women I know get batty-eyed like that after a few drinks. Very strange.
She looked more like she was on "crank" to me.
As she bounced out on stage, I wondered, too, if she was on something. She was just too bouncy and too... sharp (not sharp in her thinking but in her mannerisms).
Think about this. Who else likes to wink while he speaks? (Clue: Initials are GWB) If that doesn't scare Americans, nothing will. Those of us who connected the dots don't find winking "folksy" or "friendly". It's condescending and deceitful.
As much as I dearly love Jimmy Carter now and have such great respect for him, I didn't vote for him the first time because he winked too much. I thought anybody that winked that much couldn't be trusted. I notice he stopped doing that - too late.
I think that she was wincing every time she went off the McCain script, and was hit by a shock from her implanted electric moose prod. Or perhaps they were downloading more right-wing talking points. Either way, this Stepford wife's software needs an upgrade.

I'm sorry, but has Gov. Palin heard of Lasik? While they're slicing her eyeball to correct her coke-bottle lens needed vision issue, they could get a brain matter sample as well... I think the public deserves a count: Dead Brain Cells vs. Near-Dead Brain Cells.
Palin had all the answers to the questions before hand.

I don't know if others noticed beyond my viewing group, but did you notice her lower lip? It had a mind of it's own. Almost like the last word out of her mouth was repeated, but silent.
I've only witnessed such a thing a few times in my life-and not in young persons.
