My question is, why? Was she trying to woo America?

She is folksy, isn't she? I think she played well with a lot of people. We're so tired of listening to these lawyers and she is a nice change. That doesn't mean she'd be a better VP. It just means I'd rather listen to her than the others. I do love her accent!

She didn't strike me as folksy...more like fauxsy. I think that the only people taken in by her would be those already inclined to vote GOP. SHe in anything but "a nice change", thi is all pure calculation. To quote Gil Scott Heron "A Madison Avenue masterpiece – a miracle – a cotton-candy politician".

Sarahs winking and statements about her idea that V.P. should have more power should send shivers up all of us including Mc Cain. If i were Mc Cain i would be surrounded by secert service agents while meeting during meeting with Palin. WINK WINK

She was probably trying to pull something over us -advising us not to go in to debt when a lot of families are one illness away from very serious financial problems. How patronizing.

I wonder how the Queen of England would respond during diplomatic discussions if Sarah punched her in the arm, offered to shoot her a bear and a moose and tried aw shucking her to death. It would be hard to imagine anyone who could do what Bush did to our international reputation-----but do it worse and more of it. Sarah wants to be president. When she was still mayor of Wasilla, a friend told her that in ten years she could be governor. Sarah's reply? "I want to be president." Donate and volunteer. Make calls. Knock on doors. Organize to get people registered and make sure every Obama supporter gets a reminder to vote and a ride to the poles if they need it. Don't take anything for granted until this is officially over.
