Just a quick question about this Michigan announcement -- that McCain is pulling out of the state. Does this mean McCain-land is the first campaign ever to make their pre-debate spin be "we're going to lose"? I guess the good news for them is that it lowers the bar...

Gallup is back up to plus 7, and the map at realclearpolitics (a site that skews republican) just added NH to the Obama column, putting him at 264 leaning or likely.
The whole thing is making me wonder at what point the Republicans are going start running ads that resort to that infamous battle cry of those who have just flunked finals:
"Common sense beats book-smart any day!".
