Conservatives Fawn Over Palin's Physical Appearance (VIDEO)

Last month, the McCain campaign accused Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) of being "disrespectful" and sexist for calling Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) "attractive." Will it similarly slam National Review's Rich Lowry, who praised Palin's sex appeal to male viewers?

I'm sure I'm not the only male in America who, when Palin dropped her first wink, sat up a little straighter on the couch and said, "Hey, I think she just winked at me." And her smile. By the end, when she clearly knew she was doing well, it was so sparkling it was almost mesmerizing. It sent little starbursts through the screen and ricocheting around the living rooms of America.

That's why she's so popular and appealing to many Americans because of her good looks, because we live in a society that idolizes beauty and celebrities and treat them like demi-gods. So unfortunately many morons think good looks qualify her for anything. But in my mind I think her looks
qualify her to be an actress or a beauty salon manager but NOT a VP.

I might be a little unusual, but I've always valued intelligence and physical fitness
over conventional attractiveness. I regard Palin in the C to D range in intelligence
and B to C in attractiveness. Even though she shoots moose, I'm not sure I would
want her on a 20 mile hike.

It was clear to many that Sarah Palin spoke from cue cards and talking points. She appeared to be the student who fails to go to class and then pulls a couple of all-nighters right before the big exam.

That may seem unfair, but how else is it possible to explain the past two weeks? Katie Couric asked Palin to discuss a Supreme Court decision with which she disagreed. She could mention none.

The biggest shock was that she failed to mention a very recent Alaska case (6-25-08). This case involved the reduction of damages that resulted from the Exxon Valdez wreck off the shores of Alaska. She could not remember a case she had strongly protested three months ago.

Palin was also questioned about her reading of newspapers and periodicals. She said she “read them all,” but she was unable to name even one. She might have at least heard of the Wall Street Journal or USA Today, but we may never know.

It is becoming clear that Gov. Palin is only able to answer questions when she reads from a TelePrompTer or has access to note cards, as she did during the “debate.” She made it clear that she was answering her own questions in her own way, not those of the debate moderator. Let us hope that a potential President McCain remains in very good health.

Sarah Palin is pleasant looking. But, but, .... she's a married woman, five kids, soon to be grandma, a nutcase with crackpot religious views. Worse, she's a Republican. I wouldn't touch her if she were the only woman left on earth.
