Levi Johnston And Bristol Palin Considering Summer Wedding

The teenage pregnant daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her boyfriend are considering a summer wedding.

Bristol Palin, 17, and Levi Johnston, 18, haven't set a wedding date yet, his mother, Sherry Johnston, said Thursday.

The two have been considering getting married next summer, "but that could change," she said during a short interview outside her Wasilla home. The baby is due in late December.

The young couple was thrust into the spotlight after Sarah Palin was selected as John McCain's running mate in late August.

That only intensified Sept. 1 when Palin announced her unwed daughter was pregnant, spinning Internet speculation about the father's identity. In a short statement, the campaign never identified Levi, instead saying only: "Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family."

Sherry Johnston eventually disclosed that her son, a former high school hockey player, was the father.

Levi Johnston attended the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., the next week as Palin accepted the nomination.

I've heard that the maiden of honor and bridesmaids will be wearing .410 guage double-barrels, the best man and groomsmen will be wearing 20 guage over-and-unders, Sarah has chosen a 12 guage pump (unplugged and with modified choke) , and Todd opted for a 10 guage pump (unplugged and with full choke).

By prior agreement, Levi's parents will be unarmed and escorted by troopers personally chosen by Sarah.

yes, they did it to themselves. However, Palin thought that no one should ever learn about sex. Not only should young adults, even up to age 18, ever be informed about sex in school, but neither she nor her husband thought it necessary to discuss it at home. And I'm sure she would never allow her children to check out books from the library, which might discuss sex or any other scientific topic. So her kids are at a total loss, and have to rely on lunchroom gossip, such as "You can't get pregnant your first time."

Her MO is to just say 'don't do it.' If someone receives sex ed in school, or at home, and still gets pregnant, then yes, they did it to themselves. But there are many fervently religious families that manage to withhold all information from their kids, which is horribly wrong.

I want to know, at what age does Palin think people SHOULD learn what sex is? if 17 is too young to be told by your parents what sex is, and how to avoid disease and pregnancy, then does she think people should remain ignorant forever, unless and until they marry?

Leave these kids alone - and take a closer look at their parents. It is still shameful for the Christian girls to become pregnant out of wedlock. Yet Mrs. Palin uses the situation as a merchandize and displays the girl - who should be at school - as a useful object, with no respect for Bristol's feelings and no mercy for her condition.

Poor Levi really got pushed into this pre-arranged wedding , by McCain and the Palins.
From other sources I have read Levi wants no part of this charade and trying ot get out of it.
McCain is calling all the shots on what the family does at this point...
