Palin Finally Provides Answers To Questions Raised In Recent Interviews

Can she have a do-over?

Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential nominee, became a late night punch line and a pundit punching bag after she could not answer some questions in her recent television interviews. In particular, she stumbled when Katie Couric of CBS News pressed her to name specific newspapers or magazines she read regularly. ("Whatever was in front of me," was as specific as Ms. Palin got.) And she could not name a Supreme Court decision besides Roe v. Wade that she disagreed with.

But Friday morning, freshly confident from her positive debate reviews, Ms. Palin revisited the questions in an interview with Carl Cameron of Fox News.

Volumes have been written about what's wrong with Palin, not to mention that it's obvious from her interviews.

If you haven't figured out by now why people don't like her, there's probably not much hope for you.

Palin is categorically wrong about Kennedy v. Louisiana.

Kennedy v. Louisiana prohibited execution of a CHILD RAPISTS"not "repeat rapists."

This is an important distinction because 1) Louisiana"s law specified the execution of CHILD RAPISTS ONLY 2) Supreme Court banned capital punishment for rape with adult victims in 1977.

Geez, Palin can"t get it right even after looking it up! She needs a teleprompter with the facts spelled out.

Re: eminent domain:
She evoked eminent domain to obtain the land to build the failed hockey rink, yet she did not fully obtain the lease. The legal battles that ensued put the town into heavy debt.

Re: Exxon/Valdez:
She talks about the cost of the spill on the coastal communities livelihood, yet she is fighting hard to strip native Alaskans of their exclusive hunting and fishing rights to open it up to the larger industry. These are people who rely on hunting and fishing for food and sustenance, not for profit.

Could she have picked three worse cases?

I have few question and need answers .
1- Do we know anything about Sara Palin's husband ,who is he? what is his demeaner ? does he have records of any kind the good ,the bad and the ugly ? is he trusted to be in the white house or even living 24 hours with the second in comand of the US Armed Forces ?and how much influence he has on his wife ?
I think these qustions need honest and true answers .

He belonged, on and off for a total of seven years (some during this decade), to a political party (the AIP) that advocates Alaska seceding from the US. Can you imagine Obama, Biden, or even McCain getting away with having a spouse who belonged to such a group?
