The new Chanel line looks smashing.
The rest of it, well, I don't know if anyone will wear a bouquet on their head or see through dressses with bows that make you look gift wrapped. That's just silly. I must say though I love the bright carnival colors. Classic and fun and cheerful. (So much variety to mix and match.) Clothes that put you in a good mood are important.
Ok. So, I'm a jeans to the store, barefoot kinda gal. I've also been there, done that. Seen it, it don't impress me. From Egypt to Italy, London, etc. My "style" (or lack thereof) is my choice. Yours is yours.
But, geesh--really? I understand High Fashion isn't necessarily meant for the street (meant more for gallery openings, etc). But--geesh!
I sometimes feels sorry for those models (not for the money they make though--they'd have to pay me a boatload to dress up in that get-up too). When I see some of that idiocy, I just wiggle my toes in sympathy and thank all the Powers That Be that I came of age as a hippy chick.
