I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The good news is that Sarah Palin can complete a sentence...the bad news is that the rest of us have to listen to it, according to Bill Maher in his opening monologue on Friday night.

Maher also had mocking words for Rich Lowry, who thought Palin was 'man straightening.'

Here's video:

Just a thought here...after reading a comment about Todd not holding the baby that much-- made me think.....He doesn't and even after the debate the smallest child was handed the baby...weird... also I saw a clip with them exiting the airplane and even then he wasnt holding the baby....Is it his? Is it hers??...I am still on the fence on that one. Any ideas on why 1st dude doesnt hold the baby?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:51 PM on 10/04/2008

It is entirely possible the baby is her son's ergo the Down Syndrome. It is now established she has committed adultry so now it's just a question about with how many.

The kids arent ever in school...what if the baby is one of other daughters'...or just not the 1st dudes at all...these are valid questions...how can you go into labor in Texas and hold it til you get to Alaska...that has not been explained well at all.

i am tired of them using that baby as a prop to win votes. as governor and if she is VP SHE will not have time to hold a baby that much. it is such a facade!!! and letting the littlest one hold it too, is all for votes, so people can say "awwww look how cute!" its pathetic that they would USE their children for political reasons. and the pregnant daughter is ALWAYS with her, isnt she still in high school???????? or did all th kids drop out??????

You're confusing Willow with Bristol. No one's seen Bristol since the convention. The one that's wth her the most is the 14 year old, Willow. She looks a lot like Bristol.

I really don't want to comment on the family situation anymore. People that sense what they do, may or may not want to comment on that.

I do question however, they can miss so much public school. It's not just homework makeup. It's missing the education. But heh! Nov is right around the corner, so hopefully they'll play catch up when they go back to AK.

Just wait until the five year old drops trig on his head. What are people going to say then? She endangered the life of her "child" when she flew home 9 hours and bypassed hospitals with neonatal units to have a premature special needs baby in a backwater hospital, just so he would be born in Alaska. Between that and her handing her 5 month old baby to a 5 year old to hold says a lot about what kind of a person she is.

Yeah, all these reporters tried to shush that up saying there was no question that the baby was hers, but I don't know. I'm noticing the same things you are and from comments I've seen on this site, we're not alone. There's something not quite right there.

He needs his hands free to wave and shake hands with his admirers. He has become pretty much a "media w-h-o-r-e," always positioning himself right beside or behind McCain and working the lines like he's the star.

I would just once, out of curiosity, like to hear him speak a few sentences to see if he speaks hillbilly like his wife and/or if he sounds like Truman Capote.

Sarah Palin's executive experience.

Run a state with a population less than Memphis Tenn. with an oil revenue equal to $128,358 per person per year. She did this while asking for federal government earmark money. My 2 year old grandchild could do a better job than her.

Sad thing about Bill Maher, he used to have a regular gig, one of the few places on TV where conservatives and liberals could have a generally civil conversation about the issues. That was until he slipped one night and all you politically correct types had him banished and the conversation squelched. Now that he has capitulated and tried to revive his career you all think he is just wonderful.

I think having a show on HBO is more liberating and less restrictive. I don't know how the pay is, but I don't think there is a better forum for discussing things controversially on television.

Bill Maher said something over the top, and the sponsors bailed. ABC couldn't rationalize airing a TV show, that had no sponsors.

On the other hand, in the slot Bill currently occupies, Dennis Miller had a very highly rated weekly show. HBO canned him shortly after Dennis announced that he was a Republican.

Talk about censorship!

People applaud at a dancing bear not because it dances well, but because it dances at all.

The Republicans are in a state of complete dellusion. They are convinced that Ms. Palin 'wiped the floor with Sen. Biden. Did they watch the debate? They are in lala land and the whine-o-meter is on tilt.

they always talk like that. None of them thought it was an embarrassment for mccain to bring his wife to sturgis where people were doing drugs (an illegal activity) and he said he'd be happy for his wife to strip.

Instead, Republican sites reported his speech which contained lies about Obama (as usual) as if the speech meant anything. He was just saying the usual.

Perhaps one of Bill Maher's best shows and panels. Amanpour - the anti-Palin really centered the dialog. Humor aside, the biggest charge against Sarah for me was her tone and performance - that old-fashioned divisiveness to the country. With the mess the country is in, face it, the new president, the snowballing Barack Obama, is going to need both Republican or Democrat to unstick the situation. The Bush-Rove-Palin Republicans have relished using division - either with us or against us. This is over now. The emerging trend is the modern politician who moves us, Democrats and Republicans in better ways. Let us hope the Presidential snowball becomes Congressional rolling out of the way the "Neandricans". Sarah's wink and hate is melting away under Obama nobility. And Senatorial candidate Al Franken uses humor. Roll, Baby, Roll.

Agree completely - I sure wish we here in Texas could get Rick Noriega into the US Senate - Cornyn has lost some of his lead, but time is so short....and unfortunately there are so many die-hard Repug supporters here, but I'm still hoping....

If you are planning to donate to the campaign, please do so by the middle of October. They need to know in advance how much they will have to spend in the final weeks.

What is sad to me as a American. We go to church more then any country in the world yet we pray for wealth, and a winning touchdown. Thats about it. Forget the rest.

Palin could have helped her self a lot when after Biden choked up, she would have looked at him and said something to the effect of "I am really sorry about the loss of your wife and child". But of course that didn't occur to her to do. (Thank goodness, because a lot of people would have fallen in love with her if she did.) She is very cold hearted in my opinion. And to think with all the problems this country has, we have a vice presidential candidate, winking and flirting with the camera to try to get votes. Its really sickening that so many of our fellow citizens fall for this kind of BS.

I do not even think she knew that aspect about Biden. She is too self absorbed and besides......a lot of time was spent at cram camp that they forgot to feed her that crucial information. Some people are just not intellectually curious, if I may call it that. I am not even running for club president but I research a lot. Maybe I am just nosy!
