As a socialist from Europe (hah !) I must say (having heard many a speech by gifted Union Leaders) that this one had me on the edge of my chair.
This guy is moving ... not just laying out Union policies - which in itself is good - but actually fighting for work place equality - *and* tying it to the coming presidency.

This brought tears to my eyes...I serve my country, I PATRIOTICALLY pay my taxes and live inside the laws of this country, and sometimes I feel that I will never get to truly enjoy living in this great nation simply because I am Black. That you so much for that, it gave me hope that my children will finally be looked upon for who they are, not for the color of their skin. We are but one race, the human race!

It's amazing...democrats who say they've never voted republican will vote for JMC because Sen O bama is a BLACK man.....WOWWW! After this election, I hope a large majority of AAs will consider leaving the democratic party. Our own party rejects us!
But their are far more Republicans who are saying that they could not Vote for a Non-White person and for years their entire identity has been based the notion of the Democratic Party as a bunch of 'n-word'-lovers.
