Alec Baldwin Imitates Sarah Palin (VIDEO)

Actor and activist Alec Baldwin appeared on "Real Time with Bill Maher" Friday night. At several points during his sitdown, in which he was joined by CNN's Christiane Amanpour and comedian Garry Shandling, Baldwin winked at the camera and put on an accent in imitation of Sarah Palin. On the show, which first aired live Friday night, much of the discussion was about the previous night's vice presidential debate.

It is not Palin. It is McCain. How in the world would this guy claims he is all about "country first?". Does he really believe that this woman would or could do the job of the president? It is also a reflection of the Republican Party that has repeatedly failed to come up with competent, qualified, and articulate candidate. It clearly exposes the bankruptcy of the Party.

If Barack Obama wins...if...please be honest about whose fault it is when this whole bailout comes back to bite us. Be honest and show Nancy Pelosi beaming at her "accomplishment"...don't turn back and say, "if the repulicans wouldn't have voted for that bailout, we wouldn't be in the mess we are today...". I know that it will all be the republicans fault eventually, because socialism/liberalism "always" works...yeah...right.

The C-Span clips are all over the inter-net. It's obvious to anyone with a brain who was backing up the corrupt practices of FannyMae/FreddyMac.

This is a result of liberalism run out of control. Everyone get's a house, no one puts anything down, we don't care if all indications are that you won't be able to pay the loan back. Guess what people, just as not everyone is cut out to be a college graduate, not everyone is cut out for a 30 year mortgage. You may be able to dumb down a college degreet but you can not dumb down monthly payments.

And everyone knows why Rains and Waters et al are not being trotted out in front of the media to answer for their idiocy. In the world in which we live in, some groups of people can get away with it, some can not.

There are so many legitimate things about Palin to go after, it's lame to attack the sadness of her attempt to use her sexuality. Go after her policies, her cronyism, her lack of understanding major issues and her lies and stop pointing out the oh so obvious easy targets of her hair, glasses, fake accent and the like. In the clip, he is talking about her hypocrisy of railing against big government while supporting the Bush administration, which has spent us into the largest deficit in history. Just because the clip begins and ends with his imitation does not mean that was all he was talking about.

Her "attempted sexuality" is designed, party and parcel, to make her policies, her cronyism, her lack of intellectual ability, acceptable to one and all. I am a woman, and women who have worked in the real world know what she's doing. We see it every day, and it can't be separated from the rest of the package.

It's unfortunate when the perpetrator does it to get ahead in the business world. It's a catastrophe when someone this unqualified is using it to get to such high office.

I never laughed so hard watching Bill Maher's show in my life, then I did last Friday night!!! Alec & that goofball, Shandling, were hysterical!!!!! I even look forward to his frequent posts here on The HuffPo! Admittedly, yet near shamefully, Alec Baldwin is one of my "sinful secrets" - I LOVE that man!!!!!
