Biden's Mother-In-Law Dies

NY Times:

Bonny Jean Jacobs, 78, the mother-in-law of Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr., the Democratic vice presidential nominee, died this afternoon after a long illness, according to a spokesman for the Biden campaign.

Mr. Biden has canceled all campaign appearances Monday and Tuesday to be with his wife, Jill Jacobs Biden, and their families.

Mrs. Jacobs had been in hospice care in the Philadelphia suburbs, not far from the Bidens' home in Wilmington, Del.

This man is a class act in every way. My sympathies to his whole family at this time.
I am from Missouri and my mother, a lifelong democrat, wasnt going to vote at all because she didnt like Obama. After the debate last week she pronounced to me that she is voting for Joe Biden. I am hopeful that a lot of people her age will have that same thought process (right or wrong , it is what it is)

Jill is a special woman by every means She recue Joe Biden by stepping into a difficult situation when she married Sen. Biden and she has been a wonderful teacher, mother and wife. Her mother was probably rightfully proud of her accomplishments. I think Joe deserve the break to be thier for her.
