Elisabeth Hasselbeck Pushes Obama's "Radical Connections" On "The View"

Monday on the "The View" Elisabeth Hasselbeck tried to defend John McCain on the subject of the Keating 5 while attacking Barack Obama over his relationship with Bill Ayers.

"This is not about smears," Hasselbeck insisted, adding moments later, "He [Obama] wants to hide all of his radical connections."

Watch Sherri, Whoopi and Barbara verses Elisabeth on Monday's show. Joy Behar was out.

I cannot believe that the View would let Elisabeth Hasselbeck, rant on an on with the negative comments on Obama....She needs to step back and take a good look at McCaine, on his moral issues, economy issues, health care and so on......He who lives in GLASS HOUSES shouldnt throw stones.....McCaines wife was in a terrible accident and left her an invalid, what did he do CHEAT ON HER WITH CINDY....Then there is Palin dont even get me started on this Bimbo.....she better never referr to me as joe six pack, or even wink....has this women completley lost her mind! with her GOTCH

McCain’s handlers have served notice that the Senator is going to play hardball by harping on Obama’s ties with the Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, the crooked Tony Rezko, his wife Michele, etc—But what would prevent the Obama people from countering by dredging up McCain’s involvement in the Keating scandal, his preferential treatment in getting into the Naval Academy, his graduating fifth from the bottom of his class, his marital infidelity, his second-marriage into big money, his wife’s drug addiction, their 7 houses, 13 cars, etc. Then there are Sarah Palin’s negatives: her ties with the secessionist Independence Party, her witchcraft-protection ritual, her pregnant daughter’s shotgun wedding, Troopergate and other such stains on her record and character that are bound to surface the longer she stays in the spotlight.

But how would this gossipy, demeaning nastiness inform voters regarding the issues impacting on their daily lives? How would it square with McCain’s lofty “Country-First” mantra? The Senator has stated that he would rather lose an election than lose a war. Perhaps he should recall the example set by his hero James Stockdale and instruct his handlers to stick to the substantive issues, that he would rather lose the election than lose his honor.

Ugh. Can you tell me why if Ayers is still so dangerous, why is he just living his life in Chicago? Shouldn't we be after him or something? Barack is sooooooo bad b/c he went to a PARTY at Ayers' house. Give me a break. Oh and we need those minutes from the charity board's meetings. Yep...Elizabeth Hasselbeck is definetly in the anti-Obama attack mode. I think she is pretenious and has all the traits of ugly, female cattiness. Although Sherri was aggressive too, she did point out some good character issues on John McCain, i.e, the adulterous affair with Cindy that led to his first divorce. Elizabeth tried to talk her down, but didn't have a word of substance to answer Sherri. This proves in one sense, that Elizabeth is not about real fairness or equity on character issues.

The View (Barbara) needs to put her in check, being a supposedly researched veteran journalist she (Barbara) should at least want your View to be represented as fact and not just what you feel on an issue.
