Florida Palin Rally's Introductory Speaker Drops A "Hussein" Bomb

Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott took the stage moments ago as one of the introductory speakers at a rally here for Sarah Palin. After delivering brief remarks in support of Palin, Sheriff Scott flipped the switch and used Barack Obama's middle name in order to incite the crowd of thousands of people who have already gathered here.

"On Nov. 4, let's leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened," the law enforcement officer said.

According to his web site, Scott became sheriff in 2005.

“People could say running for sheriff took either courage, ignorance, or a combination of both,” Scott said on the web site.

so now this sheriff is showing not just ignorance but sincere STUPIDITY!­!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!

In fairness, perhaps Lee County, Sheriff Mike Scott was addressing a crowd receptive to this type of discrimination.

This does not appear an isolated incident. Yesterday at a McCain rally, after McCain asked "Who is the real Barack Obama?" a member of the audience yelled "Terrorist!" And so on.

I'm in Clearwater FL and thought I'd go see Sarah and see what she's like in person. Oddly enough there was no info about where the rally was going to be. Apparently it was by invitation only, NOT a public event. It turns out they held it about 10 minutes away from me, just down the road.
