Florida Palin Rally's Introductory Speaker Drops A "Hussein" Bomb

Lee County Sheriff Mike Scott took the stage moments ago as one of the introductory speakers at a rally here for Sarah Palin. After delivering brief remarks in support of Palin, Sheriff Scott flipped the switch and used Barack Obama's middle name in order to incite the crowd of thousands of people who have already gathered here.

"On Nov. 4, let's leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened," the law enforcement officer said.

I was told and learned Obama has an unique family tree connecting him to Rabbi -check it out as it will answer the questions of his name. Nothing to do with what Palin claims as she has not done her homework.

Why is it that we never hear the media bring up the facts that Palin and spouse were members of an organization that wanted Alaska to secede from the union, that Palin was for most of her life a member of a church that believed in speaking in tongues, that Palin believes the earth is 6000 years old and the end of days is coming, and that Palin and her hillbilly husband are at this moment defying legal subpoenas to testify in the investigation of Palin's corruption while in office?

Palin campaign spokesperson Tracey Schmitt issued the following statement ... “We do not condone this inappropriate rhetoric which distracts from the real questions of judgment, character, and experience that voters will base their decisions on this November.”

She was talking about Sheriff Scott, but it really should be an apology for the whole McCain-Palin campaign.

I also found it odd that the sheriff was there in his uniform. I though law enforcement officers were tax payer funded state employees. What would he do to a suspect who was for Obama? ACLU needs to be in Florida to protect the civil rights of democrates.

Naples and Estero are about 20 miles apart so maybe it was a warm up thing...ei­ther way he should not be endorsing ANYONE while in uniform.

It is not the Pinellas County Sheriff it is the Lee County Sheriff do make sure you complain to the County Commission there

I am way behind the curve on responding to this one but I will cast my vote that this sheriff be admonished if not impeached for his participation in uniform in a political campaign. He is to remain independent according to FL law.

So yeah I plan to contact every state/county official in Fla and complain as I am sure many will. If we do not remain vigilant 24x7 the right wing scumbags will try anything!
