McCain: Obama Lying About My Economic Record

McCain lobbed attacks on Obama today as the markets were in freefall.

Republican John McCain is calling Democratic rival Barack Obama a liar.

The GOP presidential candidate told a campaign rally: "Sen. Obama has accused me of opposing regulation to avert this crisis. I guess he believes if a lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed."

It has been another extraordinary and traumatic day on Wall Street, with the Dow Jones industrials plunging as much as 800 points before closing with a loss of about 350.

The first thing Obama should do is say thank you to the host and moderator, and then pre-empt McCain's attacks. He should ask how long it will take for McCain to mention Ayes, Wright, etc. and how long before he starts lying about his tax proposals, etc. etc.

Me too. He'll give McCain the opportunity to say what McCain will inevitably say. He's ready for him. The Keating Five documentary that came out yesterday wasn't just made this weekend - it was ready before McCain got really nasty. I feel certain Barack has a very good idea of what to expect tonight. And, the thing that is becoming more and more apparent is that McCain is underestimating his opponent. Makes me wonder if he is counting on race to bring the outcome he wants against Obama. That's rich. The worst part of it is that his base just eats it up. I guess it would be easier being a part of that base - you wouldn't have to tell the truth at any time and no one would call you on it. Truth becomes only what your candidate says (at the moment), there is no accountability (I mean who wants to look back), you live in the moment. You can say you're a Christian and no one expects you to live like one. They managed to take patriotism, religion as their own personal property. What gets no media attention is how powerful the Moonies have become in the Republican party!

Bush 41 is pals with Rev. Moon and Charley Black of McCain's campaign is in over his head with the Moonies. Certain Republican members of the house even had a "Coronation" for Moon in Congressional Halls, Crowning him as "The True Messiah"!

Why do you think that these crowds of adoring fans of McCain/Palin have that glassy eyed look of unquestionable support.

They have grown as a group with millions of dollars of "Faith Based" government handouts.
The rules for belonging to the group have NOT changed. Each member is expected to GIVE all their worldly possessions to the church and pledge unwavering support to the Dear Leader Rev. Moon.
The Rev. Moon has been VERY instrumental in getting crowds of thousands of his brainwashed flock to come out to the McCain/Palin rallies.
The Republican party has capitulated to Moon on everything he has wanted from them, even going as far as dropping the long used term for referring to their base of "Christian Conservatives" to the more generic term "Evangelical" because the Moonies are NOT Christian, they worship their Dear Leader Rev Moon who has proclaimed himself as the Messiah.

The true base of Christian Conservatives is dwindling as more and more Moonies replace them.

Make no mistake about it, the Moonies(Unification Church) are a CULT, a cult who has been accepted into the GOP with open arms!

This is really true. Moonies tried to "infiltrate" my church several years ago. I was chair of Outreach at the time and they asked for a meeting with me so they could see how they could get our members involved in their promotions. After a cordial meeting, I told them our congregation was not their mission field, that they could join us but that we weren't going to join them. But, some of the material they showed me in that meeting (pictures of mass numbers of people) were a little frightening. That was about 7 years ago.
