Constantly under the watchful eyes of security, the media wasn't permitted to wander around inside Coachman Park to talk to Sarah Palin supporters. When reporters tried to leave the designated press area and head toward the bleachers where the crowd was seated, an escort would dart out of nowhere and confront him or her and say, "Can I help you?''

How to improve your public appearances.
1. Wear specially designed Maverick suits -- particularly when appearing together.
2. Maverick sheriff's badges -- very authoritative.
3. Maverick glasses for Palin -- let's get serious.
4. The Maverick-Mobile -- for maximum arrival and departure impact. This also holds true for the Maverick plane.
Why can't they talk to Palin supporters? Maybe because the supporters are paid to be there, like the clown in the picture?
This is unacceptable as some Palin supporters have shown a tendency toward violent behavior.
Clearwater, isn't it where the Scientology has a major "church"? or something like that...
Question: Why didn't the Press wait for the Event to end in-order to talk--interview some of the Palin-Supporters ?

Once the Palin-Supporters walk off of & out of the Park area which the Event was being held the McCain-Palin Campaign has no Authority of whom the Press could or couldn't talk with (Interview).
I'm no Lawyer, however I believe that My assertion is right in this--that situation, if not forgive Me!
Is Palin scared to death of the media because she is afraid the real truth about her family values will be revealed. I SAY, "COME OUT OF YOUR SHELL, PALIN, and keep Americans from imagining all sorts of weird shenanigans.

How sad that a person's life could be so empty, so meaningless, so pointless, that Sarah Palin would be his hero.
The headline photo says it all. Only a clown would carry a sign that say "Sarah Palin is my Hero".
There must be a misprint here. It should read: "Media Won't Go Near Palin Supporters."
Seriously, would you want to be in a 30 mile radius of these people?

Although I support your right to say such things, I don't think they are helpful to the cause.
How about we comment on what SP represents that these people clearly think has been missing in their lives? I think the "clown" is right. She's their hero. She represents the idea that you don't have to be born into a political family, born rich, born male, or born with privileges in order to have a chance to get to the top.
But see, Barack Obama represents that same ideal.
So, why not stand outside of the stadium and question folks as they leave? Absolutely moronic move by McCain/Palin, but so is the assertion that they media can't get to their supporters. How can McCain keep the media from talking to McCain supporters? They CAN'T!!
Maybe this is frustration over the fact that McCain supports don't want to talk to the media. But to claim that the campaign is preventing it...well, you aren't trying very hard if that is your argument.
Why are seasoned reporters letting a campaign aide boss them around?
Go talk to the people you wussies.
Obama supporters in swing states should attend these rallies (undercover) and report back if the real press won't do it!
