I am puzzled as to how the McCain campaign continues to bring up Bill Ayers when facts like these are public. Do Republican's think only they can get away with things like this? I saw Rudy "Mr. 9/11" Giulianni on Morning Joe this morning and he was pressing the whole Bill Ayers Obama things saying the two men were good friends even though that has been shot down by major newspapers as untrue. How can they spin this stuff knowing that McCain in fact has or had more ties to radicals. Obama was a kid when this man went off his rockers and was against America. Obama has called his acts despicable, but they still try to tie him to this man, while our economy burns to bits. Its so over for McCain, he is desperate and everyone sees it and and his nasty doings will backfire on him in the worst way. I think he has lost a lot of respect. He threw away his dignity to try and win this race. he can never claim it back

This man should vow to never wink (purposefully). He looks like an obnoxious sleazy old man when he does. Very creepy.

Is McCain and Palin really think Obama could, on the course of works in the improvement of education system, have contact , work with and become friend of a fellow Professor from the big University , be working with a terrorist? Who is responsible for fighting terrorists to prevent our citizens to work with a "terrorist" like that? Isn't the job of the company or government to background- check employees? McCain and Palin now want us to even FEAR of our own fellow workers or collegues? Should McCain-Palin be in government, they would have gathered all of us into jails to weed out who are the real terrorists among us!! Palin and her husband, Todd Palin, are members of the Alaska Independent Party which worked to secede Alaska from the Union/USA and now she is the USA' s Vice President candidate! Is it a cause for concern more than just pointing our fingers to an innocent citizen and tagged him as "terrorist"? Palin is the most divisive idiot of our time to run for the highest office and some voters are being hoodwinked by her winky-hooker manner to vote for her. McCAIN-2008 IS FIGHTING AGAINST McCAIN-2000. GAMBLE OUR COUNTRY WITH TWO ECCENTRIC, RECKLESS MAVERICKS IN THE WHITE HOUSE?

The Tone Being Created

"Palin's routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness," writes the Washington Post's Dana Milbank. "In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric's questions for her 'less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media.' At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, 'Sit down, boy.'¦

"Palin, speaking to a sea of 'Palin Power' and 'Sarahcuda' T-shirts, tried to link Obama to the 1960s Weather Underground. 'One of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers,' she said. ('Boooo!' said the crowd.) 'And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, "launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,"' she continued. ('Boooo!' the crowd repeated.)

"'Kill him!' proposed one man in the audience."

This does not appear an isolated incident. Yesterday at a McCain rally, after McCain asked "Who is the real Barack Obama?" a member of the audience yelled "Terrorist!" And so on.

Getting ugly out there.

If a man who was tortu red into renoun cing his country, as McCain did in Vietna m, would play politics with an issue like tortu re, I would say perhaps some irreversible psychological damage has occurred It is the same mentality that would charge a rap e victim for their exam as Palin did while mayor of Wasilla. It is a sign of latent s adis tic tendencies. Not a quality you are looking for in a leader, especially in a time of crisis. Talk about mystery surrounding a person" s character. I think I'll stick with the guy who put himself through Harvard Law school.

Why would Palin's spokesperson bring this up? There is a distinct lack of brainpower on this ticket.

I get the distinct feeling that violent acts of terror against Americans only outrage some right-wingnuts
if they are committed by "foreigners".

Remember everyone, not elevating what is clearly an attack against our fine in utero problem solving areas into a federal crime is tacit approval of that act. Remember that fee speech zones that restrict anti-abortionists are fine and dandy for public safety reasons.

You all know those clinic bombers got off scot-free and never served any jail time or were criticized by their peers, "news reports" to the contrary. You all know that Planned Parenthood's penchant for accepting donations tied to aborting black children and protecting rapists who bring in their 13 year old victims are complete fabrications.

I tire of the anti-abortion movement. When Barack Obama, the abortionist's staunchest defender, gets control of the DOJ we will make sure that every abortion is fully covered under universal health care and "Crisis Pregnancy Centers" are shut down under the hammer of justice. OUR DEMOCRACY DEPENDS ON IT!

As a narrow minded redneck Johnny is demonstrating over and again why I wouldn't vote for him, ever. There is no time or room for his views and I will be so delighted when he finally loses this race and a mature adult takes the reigns at the White House and John Boy retires.

They have devolved into using sean hannity's talking points.

I do not condone anything William Ayers did, but isn't it interesting that hannity and his ilk condemn Ayers for violent actions against US Govt real estate to protest US involvement in Vietnam but they are apologist for segregationist who violently denied US citizens basic rights because of the color of their skin. The man is so filled with hypocrisy it is mind boggling.
