"Message Nazi" Schmidt Pushed McCain To Pick Palin

Well, he's no Karl Rove, that's for sure. And McCain is no W. At least Rove had the sense to have some tact with his tactics, and at least Bush had the sense to insist on his father's profusely experienced Sec of Defense as his VP.

If Gore was the "serial exaggerator" that just couldn't get away with it like Bill Clinton could, then McCain is the emotional child that just couldn't keep it together like George W. Bush could.
