New DNC Ad Criticizes McCain Over Negative Attack Ads (VIDEO)

The DNC has released a new ad criticizing McCain for his aggressive turn towards negative campaigning. The spot ends with McCain, in a clip on the campaign trail from 2000, saying "if all you run is negative attack ads you don't have much of a vision for the future, or you're not ready to articulate it." As TPM notes, the McCain campaign's ad spending is now nearly 100 percent devoted to attack ads. Watch the DNC's new ad below.

The first half of the ad is ineffective. Hard to decipher. Much more effective is the second half with McCain just being his normal hypocritical self.

The McSame/Palin strategy: Deliberate, premeditated lies. Lies, lies and lies upon lies. It is hard to imagine that the "The Party That Wrecked America" (thank you John Talton) has anything but outright contempt for the intended audience of their attack messages. It is as if they are saying: We are lying to you. You even know that we are lying to you. But we have so little regard for your intelligence and ability to think for yourselves that we have no reservations about doing so. Yikes! Being uninformed or unaware is one thing but to be flat dumb as five wet planks is another level altogether.
