Palin Calls Afghanistan "Our Neighboring Country"

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin called Afghanistan "our neighboring country" on Sunday in a speech that could revive questions over her tendency to stumble into linguistic knots.

Three days after a mostly gaffe-free debate performance, the Alaska governor fumbled during a speech in which she praised U.S. soldiers for "fighting terrorism and protecting us and our democratic values".

A possible reason why Pa lin continues to make blunders may be because she is just regurgitating talking points fed to her by MC's handlers. She speaks but cannot make a cognitive connecting to the context of the message, memorizing facts without comprehension. Her cognitive style of learning may not fit into the instructional strategies or methods currently being used. Allow her ample time to familiarize herself with the subject(s) using whichever learning style works best for her, before the next speaking engagement. If she continues confusing her facts and/or shows a lack of knowledge acquisition, then this may not be the job for her.
