Salma Hayek's Near-Miss On German TV (PHOTOS)

Salma Hayek narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction on German television over the weekend. The actress and new mom to Valentina, born last October, donned a traditional dirndl with a deep plunge that struggled to cover her. Hayek was on the show "Wetten Dass" to promote her UNICEF campaign to fight tetanus.

Also on the show was designer Karl Lagerfeld.

For the past 50 years, women have been working on understanding their relationship with the world. Not all paths have been productive but the consistency with which women have labored to be both self critical and self defining is very impressive.

Understandably, the woman's movement has had an immense impact on men, but the male response has been both baffling and pitiful.

The energy and constancy that men invest into relegating women as various body parts underscores their collective insecurities in a world where women see themselves as equals. Are men's ids so fragile that the only way they can continue to feel like men is to engage in adolescent sexual banter? Are they so disconnected from each other that sports and sex are the only safe ground they dare broach with each other?

Are grown men really satisfied spending their entire lives in 6th grade health class?

I sorry your comment is obviously something you have though long and hard about, but hers the truth. Most MEN when they see something like that they are going to look. Most men when they see something like that are even going to stare a little. And most men when they see something like that are going to get aroused and want to see more if you know what I mean. I'm sorry but that is just the way it is. Marketing companies BANK on this. Men are very SIMPLE when it comes to SEX. THEY LIKE IT! Women have been using it against us since the beginning of time. I can honestly say if Selma Hayek offered to give me some of that I would have to say yes. I am married with kids. Now what are the odds of that happening? Pretty slim. I bet most men would say the same thing I just did. The point is Men Like Sex. AND SEX SELLS!

Come on, get real - Asking a question like, "Oh, why do men have to 'act like men'?" seems a bit close to asking generally why "those people" can't be more like "me." Look, Selma Hayek, is an immensely talented individual. Moreover, she's no dummy. When you dress like that, you do so with the reasonable expectation that your boobs will noticed. It's no disrespect to pay some ocular attention to a part of someone's body when it is intentionally placed front and center in the freely chosen attire.
