Cindy McCain: Obama's Waged "Dirtiest Campaign" in U.S. History

Cindy McCain said today that she expects her husband to clear the record at tonight's debate and let America know where he truly stands.

McCain, who stopped to visit a half-dozen children at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt today, said the presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama has "waged the dirtiest campaign in American history," and her husband Sen. John McCain will use tonight's debate to correct the distortions.

I gotta admit that I loved the suit Cindy wore last night. In that department, she does get it right…well,...maybe sometimes. As for Sarah, her look is more my style. Definitely. I would hire her stylist! Come to think of it, I never did like Hill’s wardrobe of endless pantsuits. She could’ve won the primaries if she’d thrown a skirt suit into the mix every now and then…well, maybe. But wait, before you start wondering where in the ditzy, vain world I came from-and wish that I’d return to it- you should hear my point. You see, as I was somewhere in dreamland picturing myself in Cindy’s (unaffordable) blue suit, and conjuring up images of my “approval rating” suddenly shooting sky high after strutting my stuff in Sara’s black and white ensemble, it dawned on me that I would still love the suits if they were worn by mannequins on display, in a storefront window. Brilliant! In my dreams, I figured out not just the McPalin strategy, but dare I say, McSame’s attitude towards women in general. It’s real simple. Pick the pretty, svelte one. Dress her up. Domesticate her. Muzzle her. Put her on display…again, brilliant, right?

Here's where I struggle with how and why people make the decisions they do. I did not know that Cindy McCain had been a special ed teacher. It has been my experience for the past 10 years that special ed teachers are usually very special people themselves.

Here's the rub: Her husband has not been so special to special needs children. He has consistently voted against funding for IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) which Obama/Biden have consistently fought for; her husband's healthcare proposal- such as it is- would allow the continued discrimination against special needs children, most of their issues "pre-existing" by definition- Obama/Biden want pre-existing conditions BANNED; McCain consistently voted against the SCHIP (State Child Health Insurance Program) which would allow lower/middle class families to receive help for ongoing health issues for their special kids so we don't have to go bankrupt in the process-- and yes, you guessed it, both Obama and Biden support SCHIP. McCain's plan provides NO provisions for special needs kids- Obama's is detailed all the way down to "autistic spectrum disorder" reform. The list goes on and on.

And McCain making fun of Biden for stuttering during the VP debates? Another sign of cruelty from Cindy McCain's husband-- Biden had a disability himself as a child. Stuttering.

Coupled with the fact that Cindy is pro-choice, one has to wonder why in the world she is married to this particular not very nice man.
