Fox News announced today that it scored two more interviews with Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK). A Sean Hannity interview with Palin and John McCain will air tomorrow night, followed by a Palin interview by Greta Van Susteren. Hours after the announcement, McCain spokeswoman Nicolle Wallace -- who has already shown her disdain for the media -- scoffed at the suggestion that Palin conduct a press conference and take questions from reporters. Watch it:

Gov. Palin will only appear on media outlets that:
A. are named for an animal she can hunt from a helicopter or wear as a hat
b. are going to use her notecards as questions
c. are going to allow Senator McCain to be present in case she needs a lifeline

I saw the interview with Hannity. Every question was about Obama. The only question he asked about the GOP candidates was how each felt about the selection of Palin. Afterwards, the only guest to discuss the interview was Newt Gingrich. Doesn't feel very "Fair and Balanced."

GOP extremists are dividing this country with hate and are assisted by fascist journalists reporting only a single view for the foreign owned Fox News who"s only interest is controlling American"s lives.

Rupurt Murdoch as most rational people know has been a huge republican contributor. Of course, Fox news is just republican news and Sean Hannity is his best puppet...its like Bush and Cheney...Hannity being Bush of course.
She will get the questions before hand so that she has a chance to practice them and if she gets any wrong they will stop tape and start over. It is a joke!
Why can't she talk to Larry King or Anderson Cooper? For that matter why doesn't she go on the View? It is a panel of women...she can't cry sexism.
I think its true, most independant voters understand exactly what Fox news is all about, so they are not reaching out to anyone...they have their base....the middle watches CNN...or if McCain wanted to go after the femal demographic, despite EH there are still women who watch that show. If he wanted to go after the younger demo, put her on the Daily Show or the Colbert Report....there are people of all walks that watch those shows...maybe she would even get the Colbert bump! LOL

Fox should caution Hannity. If he stays on Ayers, the screams and threats may be directed at him ... This is beneath even Hannity and that says a lot.

This is where the McCain campaign is really just clueless. Yes, if you put Palin on FOX they'll drool all over her and have more material for their "punish me, Mistress Palin" sexual fantasies, but who's going to see these interviews? The BASE!!! Not to help them in any way, but they need to be out talking to mainstream media in hopes of attracting new voters, but instead they only want to talk to people who love them - sort of like the Bush/McCain approach to foreign relations.

Why does she seem more articulate in the FOX interviews?... Hmmm!

Because she is speaking directly to her base.

The stupid.

I have not watched fox for about 4 years, since it seemed way too conservative and at times downright racist.. I stick to MSNBC.....Boycott Fox

Fox "scores" two interviews? That's like kicking a soccer ball into the net that is unattended by a goalie!

So, they're going to speak to their base, which is already in their corner. When are they going to speak to undecided/independent voters? I can pretty much assure you they don't watch Fox.

If they think they are settin (dropped the g) P-A-L-I-N up for a run in 2012 forget it. Between the legal issues in AK and the fact that she would actually have to talk to media in the primaries she is DOA.
Say goodbye S-A-R-A-H. Buh bye.

i just loved Nicolle Wallace's blinking incredulity when asked about a news conference.

News conference? We don"t need no stinkin" news conference!

Actually Palin belongs to FOX as a commentator, has no right to be on the panel with any candidates. If Hasselback is in Palin`s position she would also score with Palin`s supporters. Both are screechy and obnoxious and I can not tell them apart.

Who cares? It will not be "an interview". It will be taped and edited. The way things are changing daily, those two will probably not say anything relevant!
