The Daily Beast:

Newly minted triathlete Jennifer Lopez has two new feature films in the works, a Disney 'tween series, a greatest hits album, and a globe-trotting fall schedule.

In a Beast exclusive, Kevin Sessums offers a snapshot of Lopez in a more contemplative mood this summer, four months after the birth of twins Max David and Emme Guadalupe.

When Kevin Sessums interviewed Lopez, who's approaching 40, at the Long Island estate she shares with husband Marc Anthony, she looked as exhausted as any new mom: She'd caught a bug from her daughter and was feeling ill. But, ever the trouper, she agreed to go through with the interview anyway, opening up about Scientology ("the technologies that they have are very helpful"), breast-feeding (she didn't), and a "nervous breakdown," as she calls it, that she's never publicly discussed. The interview was originally done for a major fashion magazine, which removed Sessums from the story after Lopez regretted some of her comments and asked that the story not be published.

"Technologies...?" Why does this sound like a euphemism for something else?

Say what you will about the Scientologists, at least they're not the ones pushing for an attack on Iran to bring about the biblical End Times or wanting to create a modern day "Joel's Army" to take over the US government.

Compared to the evangelicals, their simple old fashioned graft is positively sane in comparison.

Another celeb shills for the scam. The deal with JLo is that her career as a singer never did much better than Paula Abdul, and her acting career hasn't been much better than Madonna's. The only thing she can point to that people recognize is that big bottom of hers. So, she seeks comfort in an outfit that caters to her and other wealthy celebs. Get a real shrink, Jennifer.

Yup, I fell over laughing about the "greatest hits" bit. Yawn. Suzanne Somers' photo used to be in Webster's dictionary, but was supplanted in the latest edition by a new one of Jennifer Lopez, next to the definition of the word "talentless".

No, I'm not a triathlete.

But, a classic triathlon, an Ironman, is a 2.4 mile swim, a 118 mile bike ride, and a 26.6 mile run.

According to the official website of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, Lopez swam 1/2 mile, biked 18 miles, and ran 4 miles. Hardly a triathlon.

Who is to say that one cannot call themselves a triathlete if one swims 1/4 mile, bikes 9 miles, and runs 2 miles? Or, swims 100 yards, bikes 2 miles, and runs 1 mile?

Somewhat deceptive . . . to call yourself a triathlete or having completed a "triathlon."

yeah, when that was in the news and they mentioned that she finished in something like two hours, i had to scratch my head. that's pretty weak for a triathlon.

No you aren't....lol
I stopped reading after it said she was working on a greatest hits album.........wtf. Seriously she hasn't had that many hits and I don't consider her a real singer. Mariah Carey doesn't even have a greatest hits album, she said she didn't think she was at a place in her career to release a greatest hit's album and she's been around a lot longer than J Lo.

Miriah and Jennifer both had nervous breakdowns . . . yeah it's called talent-less, second-rate, crappy music.

I find if funny that the creator L.Ron started this religion off of a dollar bet and after realizing it could make him a rich and powerful man died at the hands of his followers to cover up that he had become so mentally unstable it would unravel the whole religion and put an end to their money making scam.

Oh well like P.T. Barnum always said, “there is a sucker born every minute”.

And drains your bank account in the process. All the while selling you the fables created by a science fiction writer who lived on a boat with young boys and who was quoted as saying, "If you want to make a fortune, start a religion."

Oh boy. After two records that tanked in two different languages, a movie with her husband that no one saw, and a clothing line that evaporated into discount stores, this "earth shattering interview" mysteriously gets leaked. Her Scientology lineage is old news as is her fragile mental state/ego. Poor J-Lo is desperately trying to create a buzz around a career past its prime.
