Obama Ad: McCain Out Of Touch, Out Of Ideas (VIDEO)

Going toe-to-toe in the ad wars, Barack Obama's presidential campaign is out with a new one today, accusing John McCain for being out of touch, out of ideas, and an ineffective no-show on the current financial crisis.

Titled "The Subject," the spot is noteworthy not, necessarily for its message. The Obama camp pushed the message Monday that McCain was resorting to personal attacks because the economy was not a winning issue. Aides to the Arizona Republican admitted it themselves. Rather, what stands out are the visuals McCain: pictured with President Bush behind the words "Out Of Time," despondent American workers, wandering stock market traders.

The ad, the campaign says, "will begin airing today across the country on national cable."
