Palin Probably Never Had To Worry About Health Insurance

When Gov. Sarah Palin said during the vice presidential debate Thursday that her family has gone through periods where they've been uninsured and she understands what it's like for Americans "to sit around the kitchen table and try to figure out how are they going to pay out-of-pocket for health care," she forgot to mention something.

Unlike the vast majority of Americans, her husband and children had a good chance of qualifying for free, federally funded, comprehensive health care under a program of the Dept. of Health and Human Services' Indian Health Service.

Now I hope people connect the dots....Todd is alaskan native Indian./strong supporter of the Alaskan independence party who advocate the State Alaska seceding from the lower 48 and was the true face face of the Alaska government. The people here has since the tapping for VP, hinted that the Palins have never cared for anything outside of Alaska and view all things other than Alaska as a separate entity. If Mccain/palin win this will certainly be viewed as bitter sweet . The US will indeed make history but it will be with a true sucessionist.

Guess Palin will get the perks for life? I hope one day she will depend on SS and Medicare. It would be like the cold bucket of reality water. Polititans need to stay out of SS and Medicare. Period. Sadly enough, maybe not. I have no idea what the protocol for former candidates is, but Obama got Secret Service protection as soon as he declared his candidacy. I wonder if she will have the suits follow her around even after. Nice as it would be to see her on skid-row, its a little hard to imagine her homeless with two suited bodyguards surrounding a huddled mumbling wino Palin. But the thought is quite cathartic.
