Todd Palin will answer a series of questions from a legislative investigator by mid-week -- but only in writing, and with the answers funneled through his lawyer, the McCain-Palin campaign said Monday.

Gov. Sarah Palin is under an abuse of power investigation by the Legislature about the firing of her former public safety commissioner. Palin initially said she'd cooperate with the investigation, but her campaign has called the probe biased and instead prefers a separate, more secretive investigation through the state Personnel Board.

I was just watching (on CNN) Stalin....­.er.....I mean Palin giving a speech in Jacksonville, FL where she said it was "nice to see all the kids" and asked "are you skipping school to be here"? Their reply was a resounding "YES". Her reply was a thumbs up and "you get extra credit for being here". Since when do politician­s.........­and she is a TYPICAL politician­.......pro­mote truancy? I guess if it is OK for her kids to skip school then it must be OK for everyone else's kids to skip school, right?

I believe the whole idea to answer in person is because,its not often just the words u say,but sometimes what u dont say in words, that gives out clues. Beside how do they do follow up questions in this case?

perjuring oneself in writing is far worst than delivering live testimony. writing out thoughts is more premeditated than being deposed before a judge, mediator or opposing counsel. and im sure his attorneys are well aware of the exigencies they face of a contempt of court charge and the threat of losing their license to practice law in alaska -- even if pro hac vice. i still cant understand why his attys didnt request or why todd palin wasnt granted the spousal privilege in this case.

does anyone know or have read an amicus curiae petition related to this case?

The State Personnel Board can be FIRED /DISMISSED By the Govenor is why she wants the case heard before them.They need to get the hearing over and she should be investigated by the IRS for cheating on her Tax returns .If any of us .every day 'Joes' out here pulled what this woman has ,WE would be sitting in JAIL !!
