Biden: Palin Must Condemn Supporters' Hateful Obama Attacks

Joe Biden lashed out at Sarah Palin on Wednesday, calling her recent rhetoric "ugly" and "mildly dangerous," and expressing shock that the Alaska Governor did not interrupt recent rallies when supporters shouted hateful attacks about Barack Obama, including "treason!" and "kill him!"

"I watched the news and I heard a couple people hollering from the audience semi-vile things about 'terrorists,' things like that," Biden said on NBC's Today show. "The idea that a leading American politician who might be vice president of the United States would not just stop mid-sentence and turn and condemn that -- it's just a slippery slope, it's a place that we shouldn't be going."

Biden repeated the sentiment on ABC's Good Morning America:

"I think it goes way too far. Look, this really is a case where, when you don't have anything to talk about, attack -- and it gets really over the edge," he said. "I mean, some of the stuff she's saying about Barack Obama and the stuff that people are yelling from the crowd, if she hears it, she should be at least be saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, that's overboard. But this is volatile stuff."

A Secret Service spokesperson said on Tuesday that agents were trying to track down more information about the individual who yelled "kill him" during the Palin event in Clearwater, Fl., on Monday.

Chicago's Cook County Sheriff won't evict in foreclosures

CHICAGO (AP) — The sheriff here said Wednesday that he's ordering his deputies to stop evicting people from foreclosed properties because many people his office has helped throw out on the street are renters who did nothing wrong.

"We will no longer be a party to something that's so unjust," a visibly angry Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said at a news conference.

"We have to be sure that when we are doing this — and we are destroying some people's lives — we better be darned sure we're talking about the right people," Dart said.

Dart said he believes he's the first sheriff in a major metropolitan area to stop participating in foreclosure evictions, and the publisher of a national foreclosure database said he's probably right.

Still waiting for Obama to condemn the riots his buddy Raila Odinga incited after his lost the Kenyan election last year. Over 400 murdered and over 250,000 had to flee their homes because the man Obama flew to Kenya and campaigned for had pre-meditated a violent response to the loss.

First of all, I am tired of the negative campaigning by both sides. It gets me pissed off.
Regarding the Ayers issue, I simply think as a voter, who wants to trust the President after the last 8 years of lost trust, Obama should simply address the issue. Obama seems like a nice guy who has nothing to hide, so why ignore the issue? He did it for Wright, and got praises because of it.

I think the more he stays away from the issue, as more information comes up, the more I question the relationship. This is just my thoughts.

But overall, I think both candidates get my support when they talk about the ISSUES.

Palin and company are taking their talking points from a New York Times interview with Ayers. The rebuttal letter to the editor regarding the article have gained little attention.

What is Palin's excuse for inciting violence against Senator Obama? Is she trying to create mayhem for the good of the country?
