Cindy McCain, who has largely remained soft-spoken and optimistic during public appearances on her husband's behalf, has joined the attack dogs of the McCain campaign in recent days.

Just as McCain and Sarah Palin and prominent GOP supporters like Rudy Giuliani have stepped up their negative attacks on Obama this week, Cindy McCain took "one of her most personal shots yet at Barack Obama today" during a rally in Pennsylvania.

"The day that Sen. Obama cast a vote to not to fund my son when he was serving sent a cold chill through my body let me tell you," Cindy McCain said in introducing the GOP ticket. "I would suggest Sen. Obama change shoes with me for just one day. I suggest he take a day and go watch our men and women deploying."

In general, the McCains have avoided discussing their two sons' military service during the campaign. Younger son Jimmy McCain is a Marine who has already served a tour in Iraq. His brother, Jack, is at Annapolis.

Palin later invoked her own son's service overseas in suggesting that Obama did not understand the cost of war, comparing him unfavorably to McCain and his military heroism during Vietnam.

"God bless him, he spent five and a half years as a POW, and he knows the cost of war because he paid those costs himself," she said of McCain. "And as a mother of one of those troops, yup, that's exactly the kind of man I want as commander in chief."

And yesterday, Mrs. McCain made waves and stunned political observers when she stridently claimed that Obama had waged "the dirtiest campaign in American history."

Her newfound aggressiveness is obviously sanctioned by the campaign - a McCain aide said last night that the Republican nominee "wholeheartedly agrees with his wife's assessment."

So now what is Cindy on? Or is it just campaign fatigue and too much No Doose? frankly she was more appealing as a smiling manniquin. Frankly, attack dog doesn't fit her like it does for the wolf hunter from Alaska!

Cindy, go home to one of the dozen that you have. You have the gall to wear a $300,000 + outfit when people are financially suffering and losing their homes, their retirement pensions and their jobs. You are not one of us. You are one of the top 1% who cannot relate to the rest of us. Go back to your plastic surgeon and have him do a little more work on your and you will feel better. Do not use your son as a weapon, it's unAmerican.

Off point, but I was waiting patiently, and sure enough, someone stole my Obama sign from the front yard. Pigs! Also I want to commend David Gurgen of CNN. He was the only strategist who mentioned racism during the primaries. He was the only one to respond to the racist remarks made at the McCain/Palin rallies. He was the only one who told Anderson Cooper that he believed that if these attacks continue, violence would erupt against Obama. FINALLY, someone listened and yesterday McCain stepped up to the plate and quieted some in his rally. The hatred and racism in this election is beyond disturbing but I will not be surpressed. I am sending for a new Obama sign today and in the meantime I'm making 3 homemade signs for my yard.

If Cindy McCain really felt that "cold chill" (though I would argue she always has a cold chill running through her veins) when Obama "voted against the troops," then you think she'd have said something at the time. I don't know...gone on Hannity, written an Op-Ed in the NY Post or something. But no. She was so enraged she waited until a year(s) later to unleash her righteous anger.

That "cold chill" she felt was Johnnie Boy next to her, begging for his "allowance" . . . .

What about the vote of your husband from PANAMA?did not he voted against the bill that contained a time for withdrawal?
How can a man who was born in PANAMA BE MORE AMERICAN THAN,(THAT ONE)WHO WAS BORN HERE.

After months of looking like she couldn't wait to get back home to swallow another handful of pain pills, Cindy McCain has finally found her voice...and ti sounds just like Sarah Palin's! She even presses her thin lips together in the same manner. Obviously a recent graduate of the Palin School of Charm. And it looks like Sarah has recently spent time with Cindy's hairdresser. I just love how McCain gets his women to do the dirty work.

My question is. If CMc was so concerned about her son being funded, doesn't she have enought money to do just that. Furthermore, the McCains could have donated several million dollars from their piggy bank to (not only support him) support countless others. The Nerve!!!!

Cindy McCain if her son is still in Iraq wants him to stay there ?
Sen.Obama voted against funding because they eliminated the troop withdrawal plan.
Sen.McCain voted against funding when the withdrawal plan was included !!

If you want to remain in Iraq costing the taxpayer billions..... vote for McCain/Palin.
If you want a responsible withdrawal plan from Iraq..... vote for Obama/Biden.

On this issue .... it's as simple as that.

..

These people are a threat to the Democracy of America.

They need to go peddle their HATE at home, where their wives and children are USED to it.

We're DONE with their kind.

Raise the Confederate flag, have a cross-burning and another beer. They'll NEVER run this country AGAIN.

When I saw cindy making her remarks it looked like she was high on something. Perhaps the campaign should keep her out of the limelight when she is high or stoned.

Unleashed, exactly! She better be careful because she is and should now be fair game. Way too many skeletons for her to enter the race.
