Courteney Cox: I Tried And Hated Botox

Courteney Cox admits to Botox in the new issue of Marie Claire.

"Botox? I think it's fantastic and also horrible," she tells the November issue. "I mean, they've come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly.

"I went to this doctor once and he was like, 'Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.' And I was miserable.

"I mean, I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face. When people start messing with their foreheads and can't life their eyebrows, that's weird. It's not that I haven't tried Botox - but I hated it."

But Cox says, "I'm under pressure to not do anything."

Plastic surgery, she adds, isn't "really important" to her husband David Arquette.

"He loves the aging process. He thinks it's beautiful," she says.

"It's weird, because I'm so in love with David right now," she goes on. "I'm starting to really appreciate how 'there' he is for me. But in any relationship, there are times that you're disconnected. You can see how relationships end if you don't work through it."

Is she not aware that Seasons 8, 9 and 10 of Friends are on DVD? I know that she had collagen injections in her lips, and botox injections near her eyes and forehead at various points throughout the run of these three seasons. You can see the difference from one episode to the next. Her lips ruined part of season nine. You could not hear what she was saying over the noise of them flapping together.

I feel this sense of stardome about Courtney Cox fromday one when she starred inthe TV show 'Friends'.
Maybe it was her dark hair and blue eyes that told me she was the Kate Jackson of these new Charlies Angels and the men werejust all stars already. Matt Le Blanc was already in Lost In Spacand Chandler alkready had Robby Benson's agent, who actually direted their funniest episodes toward the last half of their run.

Courtney makes mel;augh like this article.I suspect she is behind it to some degree. Or heragent.

She knows how to know how to know,. Her husband is cute. He could starin films, but he is a good husband to a famous actress, you can see he strivesto perform and could, but she seems like a pill and not just often but -she seems difficult like a Jewish grandmother telling you to keep being pretty when you feel not so glam at the moment....etc. I liked her when I saw Friends. She is gorgeous, but I always thought she damaged her beauty with too much plastic surgery. Aging naturally? Hmm, I don't think so.

She's gorgeous and she seems like a nice, decent person. I always thought she was underrated.

Botox is a scary drug because no one knows how it will effect the body, ultimately. If it puts a strain on one's liver, that is dangerous because a healthy liver is the foundation of good health.

Really? She hated Botox? Is that why, when I worked in a dermatologist's office, her promotional mug was all over a whole case of pamphlets for Botox and Restylane?

What a load of crap. She may have hated it but she certainly didn't mind taking lots of money to make it seem attractive to others.

She had a very classic face and a very beautiful black hair. She looked sultry. Through the years, I thought she aged quite well. But of late, that classic beauty is gone and botoxed away.

Shame. It's only from my point of view, but I think Courteney Cox was the most beautiful face in the Friends series. Which, BTW whatever happen to Rachel Green and Phoebe ? They seem to bleep off the radar.

Wow, for the second time out of about 100, we agree on this one. She and her friend ......... Rachel Green are hosts for a lot of botox parties. Just look at their faces in person.
