Fun With E-Cards! One Way Of Looking At The Debate

Earlier this week I ran an interview with Brook Lundy, co-founder of the hilarious online greeting card site Someecards.com and the just-launched voter-PSA site BotherVoting.org. Today they have funny cards like "There is a good chance John McCain's debate performances are going to fuck up this election for Sarah Palin" and "Let's wildly overreact to every presidential poll update," and I couldn't resist trying my hand at a few using their "make your own card" function. Here are the fruits of my efforts — let me know which ones you like best in the comments section, and if you want, make your own here and I'll update this post with the best of 'em. Enjoy!

I love the one that says being a maverick means never mentioning that you are a maverick. Hilarious! This Maverick thing has really become a joke! Anybody notice that John McCain didn't mention the word Maverick once during the debate?!!

I'm partial to the "...nailing jello to the wall" e-card. That crazy simile made everything came to a screeching halt for me as I couldn't help (1) confirming what I had just heard and (2) contemplating scenarios involving nails, jello, and well...a wall. And all this enlightenment in a Presidential debate? God Bless Americal!
