McCain, Palin Question Obama's Honesty

John McCain questioned Barack Obama's truthfulness and whether he's prepared to be president during an interview he and running mate Sarah Palin conducted with Fox News' Sean Hannity on Wednesday night.

Asked about whether he believes Obama is prepared to be President, McCain's answer was simple:

"I don't. But I'll let the American people make a judgment in just 28 days. But I think he lacks the experience and the knowledge, and most importantly, the judgment that he has displayed."

Later, when Hannity raised questions about Obama's association with William Ayers, McCain suggested that Obama was not being forthright in explaining the nature of their relationship.

The Republican presidential nominee defended his campaign's recent focus on Ayers by saying that voters "should care about Senator Obama's truthfulness."

"It's about Senator Obama being candid and straight forward with the American people about their relationship. He has dismissed it by saying he was just a guy in the neighborhood. You know it's much more than that. Let's reveal all the details of that relationship and then the American people can make a judgment."

Palin raised the same points, saying that Obama's association with Ayers "tells me again we need to question his judgment. And -- not only those terrorist activities that Bill Ayers was involved in, but the questions need to be asked, I believe, when did Barack Obama know of these activities? We've heard so many confliction stories, and flip-flop answers about when he knew the guy, did he realize that he knocked off his political career in the guy's living room?"

"First it was yes, and then it was no. It comes down to again, judgment and truthfulness and a candidate's character."

I question McCain's lifespan,
his temper,
his powers of persuasion,
his decision making,
his well-being,
his integrity,
his diplomatic abilities,
his man-bear-growls,
his possible scoliosis,
his (second) wife--whom he had an affair with! FAMILY VALUES, DON'T LEAVE THE GOP JUST YET! PLEEEEEEEASE,
his apparent lack of separation of church and state,
his possible senility,
his possible senility,
his APPARENT senility,
and HIS honesty.

Regarding Obama, the only thing I question about him is why his list of faults is nothing compared to yours, Senator.

Perhaps McCain and Palin need an example of honesty. McCain and Palin have a abuse of power problem. Where was his honesty in the Keating Five; where was Palin's in the so called "Troopergate", Cindy McCain knows no honesty; she was given a slap on the wrist for stealing narcotics? For McCain to question someones honesty is bizarre to say the least.

Ironic you mentioned that about McCain and his declaration that Patreous could drive in an armored car through a Baghdad neighborhood. I have proof my son was there and he wrote that McCain was coming and all the troops had to do double duty as they all allready on long days?.. But they lost nights of sleep to give the presence for McCain to support to walk the dangerous streets. He was walking with fort knox and my son a 1st Lt at the time was partially responsibe for his security. And it took him from his other very important responsibilites of tracking insurgent to keeping patrol of soldiers and safety . McSames run for president photo op that he could use for his same old tired surge and run for presidency.

My prayers are with you and your son. I am so grateful for his service, and so grateful to you for raising someone who makes the sacrifice to serve his country. I hope he gets home safely, and I hope this war ends soon. Thanks for sharing his observation, the US is really putting a heavy burden on our troops.

John McCains allegation that Barack is a liar reminds me of his televised stroll through the streets of Baghdad falsely claiming that it was safe enought to walk around unprotected when, off camera, he was surrounded by overwhelming protective forces. Liar Liar.

It is time for Sarah Palin to be honest with us. When she claims that she did not know what her husband was doing, that is a lie and doesn't make sense. Of course she knew and this is why she does not cooperate with the investigation, because then she would have legal problems for lying.

Let's demand the truth from her!

Gee, now that's something considering McCain and Palin are the ONLY President and Vice President candidates in history to have "ethics" ruling against them. Now what's up with that?

They only need to look in the mirror to see the liars in this campaign.

Obama's IQ The Highest Of Any President Ever?

The former Guidance Counselor of Obama's private Hawaiian school supplied The Washington Post with a certified copy of Obama's Stanford-Banai IQ Certification, one of which was taken in 1966 when he was a kindergardener in Hawaii before moving to Indonesia, and one which taken as entrance protocol as a freshman in his private (extremely exclusive) Honolulu private highschool.

His IQ was clocked at 172 and 166 respectively (IQ's normally have a fluctuation of 6 or 7 points from test to test so that discrepency is normal).

That puts Obama in the certifiable clinical genius category.

Obama's campaign was not happy about The Washington Post preparing to disclose the information, because they feared it would add to his reputation as not an "everyman" and being too "elitist".

Although I agree that there are those who may see Obama's IQ as further proof that he must be "elitist," I don't understand their reasoning. Like, Jon Stewart: I want a President who makes me feel like a blithering idiot.

Unless those naysayers, who would proclaim, "See, he"s 'elitist,'" have come up with viable solutions - to myriad problems facing our nation . . . it stands to reason that we *need* someone who can "OUT THINK" the rest of us.

I say, "BRING HIM ON!"

I am an "insurgent" for Obama-Biden against McCain and the "pain" Palin.

Gee, John, tell us about your character. Tell us about what a clean campaign you've run, just like you promised to. Tell us about how you never flip-flop on anything (taxes, VP requirements, saving the economy, drilling, hawkish blustering, the AIG bailout, regulation....) and, while you're at it, how your s*** don't stink.

McSame's voice has become increasingly irritating to this listener. Each and every day of this campaign there are repeated distortions and deliberate premeditated lie from the Rethuglicans. If McSame pulls this garbage during next week's debate, Barak Obama should strongly, and in no uncertain terms, call him out on it. Voters will endorse some one who stands up for himself as being some one who is also capable of standing up for his principles, policies and country. It is a true measure of McSame's character that he initiates and approves this filth day after day.

Let's turn a negative into a positive by turning one of McCain's --- well, let's give him the benefit of the doubt and call it a "gaffe" --- into a positive slogan for Obama:

This one is voting for THAT ONE!

I just watched the Palin rally and interviews with her cult members.

Boy oh boy does America have any idea of what is happening to your image world wide? Your country is now perceived to be more racist than it was 50 years ago and all because of Palin and McCain and the their GOP organization. Hopefully McCain will only get about 25% of the vote in November and that will go a long way to wiping out the image of today as it will show the vast majority of the country doesn't support hate and bigotry.

I really agree with you. Not only is our image overseas being compromised because of race but also because we are supposed to be the leaders of democracy and the lies and deciet coming from the McCain camp is deplorable. I might also add that they love Obama overseas. Primarily because they are tired of Bush/Cheney and now McMcain. The Europeans realize that the Bush war was a phony war and that thousands of people have died because of Bush. They want our leader to be smart and reasonable. Obviously McCain would be more of Bush/Cheney. Furthermore the Europeans espouse diplomacy over military action, something that John McCain is not known for as he puts down Obama for wanting to open diplomatic relations with our enemies, even though five secretary's of state agree with Obama stance on diplomacy.
