I Like ItI Don’t Like It
After not attacking Obama in last night's debate as forcefully as his campaign had in previous days, McCain was back on the offensive today at a rally at Lehigh University with his running mate Sarah Palin.

As seen at recent McCain events, this afternoon's crowd was vocal in their support for McCain and their anger with Senator Obama. At one point one man could be heard yelling, "Off with his head," when McCain spoke about Obama's tax plan. That enthusiasm was even more present during Palin's remarks, and as other observers have reported in the past, today there was a sizeable number of people making their way towards the exit after McCain's running mate left the podium.

The incident follows previous outbursts at McCain-Palin rallies this week.

Yesterday, a member of the crowd at a Palin rally in Jacksonville, Florida yelled "treason!" after Palin accused Obama of criticizing U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

And on Monday, a supporter shouted "Kill him!" when Sarah Palin started attacking Obama's association with William Ayers at a rally in Clearwater, Florida.

This is getting really serious. Something needs to be done and fast. People are reacting with passion /stupidity instead of their heads. McCain and Palin need to end this fast before someone gets seriously hurt. They know what they are doing, but it is very dangerous.

This is dangerous and and people should unite,
create a petition making both parties agree that
this behavior is unexceptable, and should
agree to denounce it-

What I want to know is where is the FBI? Where is Homeland Security when we need them. This is incitement to riot.

BOTH Parties should hold an emergency session and deal with Palin AND McCain regarding their inciteing violence against a Candidate for the Presidency of the Uniyed States of America. This is UNPRESCEDENTED and needs to be dealt with before someone gets hurt.

Why? The Republican base loves this kind of stuff. If they didn't they would be leaving McCain in Droves.

This is getting scary. The McCain and Palin ticket better hope nothing happens to O. Can't the secret service or someone tell those stupid people they have to stop? This lady sure is a cancer to her party. She needs to go back to Alaska and I hope when she gets back there, she isn't gov. anymore. I can see why people don't want her there. Does anyone one still doubt she is innocent in the troopergate incident? I have no doubt in my mind that she is as guilty as hell. The minister who laid hands on her just keep the demon inside of her. She is so hateful and mean. Cindy McCain is not much better than her. Can't wait till Nov.4th. -----------------get rid of the whole bunch of them. If it were up to me, and I was O, I would make McCain's and Liberman's life miserable. Those right wing bible toting hypocrites are all the same.

We should all contact McCain either by email or phone. Let them know that if anything happens to Obama that we will hold them PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE.!!!!

These people call themselves Christians. Republicans are all about Division, Hate, Anger and Violence, Look at Bush, Cheney, Rove, McCain.and Palin, they do nothing but spew hate every time you see them. Then Bush has the nerve to refer to "the Angry Left " at the Republican convention. I'll be so glad when these people lose their platform and a true Uniter of the people takes over!

Go OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!

The stage for this hatred was set years ago when big Rushbo crawled out from under his rock and made old-fashioned bigotry respectable again. Bring back the Fairness Doctrine.

These jokers shouting threats at rallies had better watch out - the Secret Service is starting to get a bit tetchy about that kind of thing. They're gonna find a big guy in a black suit and sunglasses on their front porch one night, and he won't be happy.

I still believe it's campaign staff. I hope they're doing a thorough investigation of this.

Whether it's campaign staff or over-excited fans, it's still a crime. And if it is a campaign staffer rousing rabble on command, their candidate ought to know better. America has a long and unhealthy history of unbalanced people taking potshots at public figures and we really don't need that.

Keep up the pressure, guys. We can't let up. These haters will use the usual dirty tricks at the voting booths, and we'll be left scratching our heads. We must get out the vote and produce landslide numbers, so that no dirty tricks will succeed.

Keep it up on the net, on the phones, and in the streets!

The McCain campaign should be shamed to hell by the heads of the RNC.

McCain, and Palin, especially, are recklessly feeding into the mindset of extremists by painting Obama as a friend to terrorists. To add gasoline to the fire, they have not reprimanded the declarations of violence against Obama from crowd goers.

If something happens to Obama, (and I sincerely hope not), McCain and Palin could very well be partially responsible.

not partially, solely.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:28 PM on 10/08/2008

I only say partially because, as we all know, there are people out there who already had violent views towards Obama before Palin fed into them.

well all I can say was Mccain did not use any new attack material, both his and Palin's tirades were just a compilation of their standard play list.
