I Like ItI Don’t Like It

During an interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson Wednesday night, Barack Obama accused John McCain of scoring "cheap political points" with the personal attacks he had leveled at him in recent days. Speaking of the previous night's presidential debate, Obama said he was surprised McCain didn't attempt to repeat these attacks during their time on stage together:

Well, I am surprised that, you know, we've been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days that he wasn't willing to say it to my face.

Watch the clip:

Update: Joe Biden echoes the line during an appearance on Thursday in Missouri:

"All of the things they said about Barack Obama in the TV, on the TV, at their rallies, and now on YouTube ... John McCain could not bring himself to look Barack Obama in the eye and say the same things to him," Biden said this morning. "In my neighborhood, when you've got something to say to a guy, you look him in the eye and you say it to him."

Biden, who arrived on stage in St. Joseph to chants of "Joe! Joe! Joe," urged the crowd not to be distracted by McCain claims, saying that every "false charge, every baseless accusation is an attempt to get you to stop paying attention to what's going on in this country and what's going on in your lives." And on the issues that matter, he said, McCain is offbase, particularly on his newest mortgage plan.

Thank you MsDoc. I disagree with ALL the name calling and bashing. There are repubs acting like idiots and dems acting like idiots. Each as an individual need to control our own emotions which needs to be done. I'm ashamed of the terrorist comments thrown at Obama and it's good to see you have something to say to about dems going down that road too. Thanks and good luck.

It's a weak cowardly man who can't look another man in the eyes and tell what he thinks of him!

But then again, John McCain can't talk without referring to crib notes, not at all up to the job!

This is such a disgrace to the American people who have lost their jobs and homes, health care, retirements while the markets have hit record lows in the past few weeks. A $700 billion bailout to banks, $85 billion and another $37 billion to AIG while the big wigs of AIG took a $400,000.00 vaction in recent days on tax payer money. I could go on. BUT you mean to tell me that the only thing the McCain camp can talk about is what association Obama had with Ayers. It's a slap in the face to the American people we deserve better than this. Trying to CHANGE the subject is ridiculous. There is NO way to put the economy on the back burner simply because it doesn't fit in with your campaign strategy. And of course McCain is not going to say any of this to Obama's face. Are you kidding me? He probably can barly look himself in the mirror. This is an all time low in politics. I feel like I need a shower just typing or saying the word (politics)

While Sen. Obama was speaking to Charlie Gibson, I could only admire how intelligent, calm and clearly Presidential he is. What a class act. Exactly what America needs at this time of crisis!!!

Go Vote OBAMA/BIDEN

Obama should bring up Palin's recent activities with the secessionist group the "Alaskan Independence Party". Their founder has stated that he hates America. Her husband was a member and she has spoken to the group several times in recent years. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a nice piece on this today. Check the main page. This didn't happen when she was eight years old folks.

Yeah, Songbird. Address him in public face-to-face about it if it concerns you so much. And be prepared to tell us more about your involvement with the Keating Five just to help clear the air once and for all.

McCain calls the Keating scandal ''my asterisk.'' Over the years, his opponents have failed to turn it into a period.

That includes BHO.

In other words: That dog don't hunt.

I am sadden today because McCain and Palin have given a Some Americans a place to direct their angry and frustration. I never believed that this shift would be easy, we are seeing the need for change in a lot of things on this planet. But we need to remember that there is still some underlining hatred and fear of this change out there, We need to stand up and say change the subject back to the issues. To the future, not to fear mongering. I ask that if you are reading blogs or news articles or talking to friends etc. that you use your energy or voice for positive important issues. We are this change. Barack Obama might be the candidate we support but he is not the end all be all of this change. He has said many times that he is just one of the voice..... and that we as a whole are the reason he is running. So change the subject, change the need to get angry and realize the best way to change the mind of those who use fear is not to be afraid.

I am sadden today, but know I can choice to not be. So I smiling now, thinking about the beginning of change to a more positive future.

Smile it is coming soon.

Wow,
McCain kept saying the campaign wouldn't have been nasty if Obama had agreed to a series of town hall meeting. That somehow, it was Obama's fault McCain decided to go negative. So look what happens after the first town hall format debate. McCain goes outrageously negative. Maybe he didn't like losing "his" format. I hate to think what he would have done with a series of town hall meetings!

That huge manure cart McCain is hauling around is going to get away from him, and will spill it's contents over McCain and his attack dog. A fitting end to McCrap and Sarah PooPoo.

So that must explain why he's bent over, doddering around on the stage. His back is injured from hauling around his s***wagon.
