RNC Piles On With TV Ad Starring Rezko and Ayers

A day after the McCain campaign released a Web ad that highlights Obama's association with William Ayers, the Republican National Committee is piling on with their own TV ad that goes one step further.

Tomorrow, the RNC's independent expenditure unit announced that it will begin airing an ad hitting Obama on Ayers, Tony Rezko, and Chicago politics, reports NBC's Mark Murray.

"But the ad will run only in the battleground states of Indiana and Wisconsin, which border Illinois."

The Chicago Way. Shady politics.
That's Barack Obama's training.
His teachers?
Tony Rezko convicted of corruption, money laundering, aiding and abetting bribery.
Rezko got Obama in on a shady land deal.
William Daley. Heir to the Chicago machine. A top Obama advisor.
And William Ayers. Leader of a terrorist group that bombed the US Capitol.
Obama's first campaign was launched at a gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.

I just finished watching Larry King where a panel was asked for their opinions regarding recent supposed scandals - ACORN, Ayers, etc. The panel was, of course, two Obama supporters and two McCain supporters. I was very, very disappointed when neither of the Obama supporters mentioned the fact that Obama was on the Board of the Annenburg Foundation with Ayers.

The Annenburg Foundation president is a supporter of McCain. Why is no one saying that the Annenburg Foundation also "pals" around with terriorists having Ayers on their Board!? It seems like such a perfect question to put forth to undermine this whole ridiculous charge that Obama is a terrorist because he "pals" around with Ayers - so does the Annenburg Foundation!

Both of whom are a bit out there, no doubt, but they are in the real trenches, helping the poorest, most disenfranchised members of our society. Annenberg did not appoint Barack Obama or William Ayers to serve on the Annenberg Challenge Board. The Annenberg Foundation provides grants to cities across the country to improve education. Bill Ayers founded the Chicago Annenberg Challenge and applied for the grant from the Annenberg Foundation on behalf of the City of Chicago. He appointed Barack Obama to serve with him on the board. There was no personal relationship between Bill Ayers and Annenberg.

This is a terrific letter that should be passed on far and wide. Notice that the Attorney General at the time was John Mitichell and the FBI assistant director was Mark Felt, both Nixon's cronies. They were super crooks, braking the law and violating civil rights in very similar ways of the current Republican Administration. Get this link out there! (I bet the prosecutor who wrote this letter is a Republican too if he worked that case in those days.)

Desperate times call for desperate measures. It's not just the RNC that are desperate, Fox News is in full attack mode as well. Anyone watching 'Fox and Friends' and more recently 'The O'Reilly Factor' will have noted just how desperate they have become. There is not one minute that goes by that someone does not refer to 'Obama's terrorist connections'. Laura Ingraham couldn't contain herself when questioned by O'Reilly. Not content with just naming Ayers, she had to go through all the world's terrorists and somehow link their support to Obama

Being from Chicago, I take offense at this ad. I know the Chicago political landscape well. The "Daley Machine" is far from perfect, but they do keep the city of Chicago running smoothly, taking care of the people. Mayor Daley has high ratings. He and his family truly love the city. The machine has been the way for over 75 years, its about neighborhoods, the people, the churches, and the jobs to keep it running.
What is the RNC talking about? Resko shady deal? Obama bought a strip of land at market price from Resko's wife. Ewww, so shady (snark). Daley? Machine? So what! Now he has some scandal attached to him by way of his family name? Why? And the Ayers diatribe, what are they talking about? The man is a distinguished faculty member of a major University. He did things during the Viet Nam war that were bad, true. (He was never convicted of any crimes.) But if you take it in the context of the times, many people were doing crazy things, including the U.S.Government. (e.g. lying about the war to Americans, Mi Li Massacre, etc...) But the point is Obama was 8 year old at that time. To hold against Obama a casual connection to a man who was on an educational committee with him that was funded by a distinguished Republican benefactor is redicuolous. McCain is off the rails. The RNC has jumped the tracks now too.

The problem with contacting them is that they don't care. First of all, McCain hasn't a clue about computers and probably has never seen his own website.

Secondly his entire staff KNOWS what they are doing is dishonest, dishonorable and sleazy and all this will do is re-enforce their belief, (wrongly) that they are getting through because they believe that if they are getting under your skin then they are getting through.

Yeah I know it's convoluted but then again repubicans have never been known for honest thought.
