Sarah Palin was photographed as she walked across the tarmac to meet John McCain after arriving in Allentown, Pa on Wednesday. A closer look at the cloth tote bag she had draped on her forearm reveals a moose head and the phrase "Real Women Hunt Moose."

Actually the cowboy-ranchers in Montana still do that. They're decimating the very last pure-stock, native buffalo herd left in the country. And the Bureau of Land (Mis)Management is going after the last wild horses left in the country. They shoot them from helicopters.

Is there any skill involved in spotting and shooting an animal that's ten times the size of a human? I imagine it's a giant, slow-moving target. The most disturbing part is that the picture on her bag is of a moose head, as in a stuffed one mounted on the wall. This woman does not appreciate life.
Let's release Sarah Palin, unarmed, on the tundra, against a plane filled with gun-toting polar bears and wolf moms. That would be great sport.

In my opinion, hunting is for necessity, not sport. If you need a replacement, maybe you should take up hockey.
Did you know that the plane Sarah boasted she sold on E-Bay was not sold on E-Bay but for $600,000 below its market value to a company in Alaska that rents it out to hunters for aerial shooting of moose and wolves? I wonder if Palin and her cronies get free rides!
I'd just really like to know what the people from PETA have against Moose and Wolves? Perhaps, it's time they change their name to People for the Ethical Treatment of Certain Animals!
