Sarah Palin was photographed as she walked across the tarmac to meet John McCain after arriving in Allentown, Pa on Wednesday. A closer look at the cloth tote bag she had draped on her forearm reveals a moose head and the phrase "Real Women Hunt Moose."

I cannot wait until a pack of hungry polar bears, driven from their homes by global warming, invade Wasilla and eat the entire Palin family. I only hope they can stomach the distasteful wretches.

Real women, nay real people are compassionate individuals with the capacity to reason, are self aware, and do not kill animals for fun. It's one thing to hunt for sustenance, it's another thing to shoot animals from a plane just for the hell of it.

animals are beautiful sentient beings. she thinks it is fair and righteous to chase them from an aircraft, terrify and shoot them. real caring person.
I agree with you that animals are majestic parts of our world and should be treated with respect. I also think that Palin sucks. However, hunting game for the purpose of feeding people is not necessarily a bad thing. The most honorable hunt I can think of are the one conducted by the Native Americans. They knew the importance of each and every animal, and prayed to the earth after a successful hunt to thank it for providing for them. They also wasted almost nothing. Hunting can be an honorable activity, its all about execution.
PalinMcCain has nowhere to go now but down. He can run away from President Bush, but he can't run away from the Republican Party. The Republicans will be regarded from now on as "the party that wrecked America." Over the weeks ahead, as carnage in the economy and the financial markets ramps up, it will become increasingly clear. It is important that this meme be spread through the internet. I urge all commentators to adopt and spread the idea that the Republicans are "the party that wrecked America." It will work because it is the truth. Use it freely. Just spread the word.
