Cindy McCain Kept Keating Partnership After Scandal

Sen. John McCain's wife and father-in-law continued a lucrative business partnership with disgraced financier Charles H. Keating Jr. for 11 years after the GOP presidential nominee said he ended his close friendship with Keating in March 1987.

Cindy McCain's business partnership with Keating in a real-estate development between 1986 and 1998 netted her a tidy profit, in addition to years of significant tax benefits. Her father, who died in 2000, earned similar returns.

How was she to know that she and McCain would still be together all that time after the Keating scandal. I'm sure she was (and is) just scared that when she ceased being attractive, McCain might leave her for another in a repeat of how she got the title of Mrs. McCain.

I'm not sticking up for Cindy, but does anyone know here that Cindy McCain had a heart attack due to the Keating 5 Scandal. Truth. She had to rehibilate herself by buying another home at that time on Coronado Island, CA.

Another thing...Yesterday (10/9) Cindy was at her worst on the stump for her husband dissing Obama. I couldn't believe what was coming from her mouth....."........sent a chill down my spine." when all along her beloved husband Senator John Mccain voted against the troops on many a senate bill. She sounded like a little spoiled girl of that she is.

Guilt by association only matters when a candidate is too far away from someone to know who the hell is sitting at the other end of a board room table. However, If your wife was carrying on business with a swindler, or your husband was a member of an anti-American seccesionist group, that's not association, that's FAMILY, and as we all know....FAMILY IS OFF LIMITS....unless, or course, you're black, have a muslim sounding name or, GOD FORBID, were involved in Community Organizing.

Is it just me or did Cindy look haggard to the point of exhaustion today? She's usually all blond curls and perfect make-up, but today it looked like she hadn't washed her hair. I think the campaign is going downhill so fast that it's taking a toll on all of them.

It's starting to be like poor Cloris Leachman on Dancing with the Starts -- painful to watch.

Well, well... since the McCain campaign has now attacked Michelle Obama for her alleged ties to Ayers, I guess it's "open season" on Cindy McCain.

Where to start? The illegal way she forced an employee to get her the painkillers (20 per day) she was addicted to for three years? The fact that her husband didn't know about it, either, for those three years?
Or that after Keating was convicted, Cindy Lou maintained a working relationship with him for 11 more years? Or that her husband also voted to bar funding for the troops?
