Cindy McCain Kept Keating Partnership After Scandal

Washington Independent:

Sen. John McCain's wife and father-in-law continued a lucrative business partnership with disgraced financier Charles H. Keating Jr. for 11 years after the GOP presidential nominee said he ended his close friendship with Keating in March 1987.

Cindy McCain's business partnership with Keating in a real-estate development between 1986 and 1998 netted her a tidy profit, in addition to years of significant tax benefits. Her father, who died in 2000, earned similar returns.

And they whine and moan at Obama's at $250,000 and up income tax increase. I don't believe in the Robin Hood theory of taking from the rich to give to the poor but the rich surely have had some good years of tax cuts, breaks, shelters and the good old boy network if you ask me.

No one but the Washington Post has had the balls to even investigate the depth of Cindy's drug addiction and the people affected by it within the charity, including the doctor who wrote out the fake prescriptions and the employees name she stole to get them. No one has written about her long term Keating connection but the Huffington Post.

What kind of reporters are these communications and journalism schools turning out? They won't report the truth. They pick and and sort thru news unequally. I want someone to report the truth. That's all the public asks.
