Politico:

John McCain and his Republican allies have elevated an unlikely pair of political villains to deflect blame for the slumping economy.

During a town hall in Wisconsin on Thursday, McCain called Senate Banking Chairman Christopher J. Dodd (Conn.) and House Financial Services Chairman Barney Frank (Mass.) "willing co-conspirators" in the current financial collapse.

The country is in financial crisis and this is what Republicans offer:

"House Republican Leader John A. Boehner of Ohio fired back by poking fun at Frank’s speech impediment.

“You know where he’s from. He’s from Massachusetts, although he can’t say the word ‘Massachusetts,’” Boehner told a group of Republican donors in Atlanta on Tuesday."

Republicans = Hate, Hypocrisy, Hegemony

Lets elect Democrats first, then weed out the corrupt ones and start replacing them with good third party candidates. We really need a better choice than bad or worse.

Yeah. Is he traveling on that "bridge to nowhere"?

That's right Johnny, if you speak slowly and often, people will listen and adhere to your words merely because you speak. Well, I am sorry that's what you believe.

Maybe next time.

Scarborough echoing this line this a.m. Said when median home prices rose to 200,000 and middle class income rose only 1%, Frank went balistic and ordered banks to give mortgages to people who couldn't afford it - Scarborough called it perverted capitalism. BUT, he made no mention of income for middle and poor rising only 1%, while CEOs of banks, Wall St., and corporations were rising at an obscene rate. Gee, what a surprise.

After McCain looses by a landslide he will be shunned in the Senate.

Humiliated and old, he won't dare to get back, wondering in which of his 12 houses he will park his suit of cars.

Through out this fiasco I keep asking the same Question
Why No Justice???

Freddie and Fannie have doled out graft and goodie bags to the tune of one hundred and seventy million dollars. That buys a lot of influence.
Chris Dodd is the largest recipient Barney Frank has taken a pretty penny too.
But they are not the only ones.
John McCain's congressional liaison in his campaign is a Lobbyist for the GSE he knows who took what and when and how much. I guess it helps to have a liaison who knows how to upbraid congress by the short hairs.

But why haven't we seen Freddie and Fannie in a court of law? Why have the companies been sheltered from forensic accounting rules their books laid bare for t the American people to see?

Congress writes the laws the president signs them into law and justice prosecutes and upholds the laws.
Why No justice? Why Chris Dodd have you not called for justice to review the books?
Why hasn't McCain called for Justice to examine the dirty tricks or Obama Why? is justice bought and paid for with a mere $ 170,000,000. million in graft and payola?

The McBush campaign was more productive when he suspended his campaign

Good thing McOpportunist plays so well with others, because he is now more devisive than W. He is making more enemies than he has liverspots. I can't wait to see him shuffle back to Arizona after he loses in a landslide.

What America wants to know is, will McCain be suspending his mouth for the duration of his campaign? like they say, empty vessels makes the most noise.

Hey Sidney,

Remember 3 fingers...

1. Credit Default Swaps - The Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 forbade their regulation. You voted for it
2. Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act - which repealed part of the Glass-Steagall Act. You voted for it.
3. Freddie Mac - Access to you was paid to your Campaign Manager.

Remember those? Just like a typical republican Sidney. Can't take responsibility for anything...

Well, he's right but he's just as much a co-conspirator as they are.

Takes a lot of sack for McCain to say this when he is so closely tied to Phil Gramm and was bragging about his deregulator cred just a few months ago.
