Obama Listed As "Barack Osama" On Some New York Ballots

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's last name is spelled "Osama" on hundreds of absentee ballots mailed out this week to voters in Rensselaer County.

The misspelling, which elections officials on both sides of the aisle insist was simply a typo, is causing embarrassment for the county.

Even the keys F, G, H, J, but S? A typist has to have some really long wayward fingers to make that typo credible. Some prejudice fool was "playing" with the letters O*bama/Osama and it made itself onto the ballot. I am surprised that these folks are not embarrassed with their juvenile prejudice and "playing around'.

IF I were a republican I would be embarrassed to admit it, so it tell you so much about people who think this is OK and/or are not embarrassed to be identified as a republican.

I heard some other official claim that they were using the Dvorak keyboard. At least in that instance the S and the B are on the same hand (right hand) but they're still nowhere near each other.

Yeah right they will tell us that they just happen to be using the Dvorak layout has oppose to the standard qwerty use has a default layout in every computer OS! And in case anybody wonder B and S are still way too far for a typo on the Dvorak layout!

A typo could only have been Ovama, Onama, Ohama and Ogama! on a qwerty keyboard the most commonly use keyboard S is nowhere near B. Now why would you use automatic spellchecker to write a single ballot and not read it to check if something is wrong with the name of one of the candidate.
