Obama Listed As "Barack Osama" On Some New York Ballots

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's last name is spelled "Osama" on hundreds of absentee ballots mailed out this week to voters in Rensselaer County.

The misspelling, which elections officials on both sides of the aisle insist was simply a typo, is causing embarrassment for the county.

How could such an important issue as the spelling of a potential Presidents name take place as a mistake. Do they not proof read before printing.

This was New York folks. If it were some place where these votes were going to matter, then I think it's time to jump up and down. In New York, it's a "brash," "dumb" typo that should never have been made and should never have gotten out in public. Let's try to have a little humor with some of this stupidity. My guess is that everyone can print Osama Bin Obama, Terrorist Fist Stabber and Hanger Outer With Terrorist (although they'll have to spell it "tarrarist" for GW to read it) and he still wins. That's how far in the toilet our country and its economy are.

Huh, that's odd, the "s" on my keyboard is no where near the "b". I can see an "a" or "d", but missing the letter by four keys over is a really bad typo.
