Palin was _not_ vetted by McCain. Troopergate was known to be a possible problem. Since Palin has problems with truth (or reality), she may have told McCain and his staff that there were no problems. I haven't read the entire report, but it seems fair and balanced...the Republicans will try to make some mischief by whining about the liberal elite MSM but, as I've told many a neo-cons, we non-neo-cons (Democrats, liberal, libertarian, communist, whatever) are no longer cowed by them.

It's not as if I was going to vote for McCain anyway. His policies are too close to those of Bush on war, taxes, abortion, etc. Palin has done nothing more than provide some comic relief and perhaps brought to the surface some racial hatreds. The only differences between Palin and a pit bull are that a pit bull is less mean spirited and is smarter.

Palin may be gone before the election. She and Todd may be back in AK by early next week. Well, she had her 15 minutes of fame...more than she deserved.

Other than Sarah Palin's abuse of power, I'd really like to know if was legal for Todd to be in possession of Wooten's personnel files. If not, he should be prosecuted as appropriate, along with the government people who provided them to him.

OMG - when will they stop?

Palin throws buzzwords like Values, Freedom, Patriotism, American, and Maverick as if she bought them on sale.

Her scripted performance lacked merit and failed to distinguish from Buch/Cheney's doctrine of fear-mongering. She comes from the same group of people who have squandered the true American values of progressiveness, innovation, entrepreneurism, and liberty.

Her convention speech had the nightmarish resemblance to Bush/Cheney's speech in 2000. Those of you who are undecided and or still thinking that she and McCain will put country first, look again Palin is Ahmedinajad, (and I"m beginning to like him over her) with lipstick.

America will be up and in sh*ts creek if McCain and Palin are elected into office. We want and need a President and VP, who will listen to the people¦.not Carl Rove.

AS Sarah would say Alaska is a microcosm of the country and she has demonstrated that she betrayed the public trust as a government official and abused her power; not much of a leap to imagine how she'd behave in the macrocosm of the entire USA.
