New York Times:

George W. Bush began his presidency with the worst terrorist attack on American soil and he is ending it with the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression. In between, he confronted a hurricane that nearly wiped New Orleans off the map as his administration showed ineptitude in its response.

Now, as he spends his last months in office trying to avert a global economic collapse, Mr. Bush has been telling people privately that it's a good thing he's in charge.

In my opinion, GWB has failed miserably.
He failed to bring about Armageddon.
No rapture, no 2nd coming, no $hit.
GWB did not deliver.

When he's in charge, the whole nation is in a shockingly cold chill and sleepless at night.
What a dumb A$$, always self agrandizing, not having a clue of his pompousness.

Well - having done everything he could to guarantee the meltdown wouldn't occur during his presidency WILL NOT save him from the responsibility of his actions.

History already knows - beyond a question of a doubt - that he is - by far - the worst president this country ever had.

I hope Jeb cries a river - because the chances Americans will ever elect another member of the Bush Crime Family is as much a possibility as the idea that Creationism is legitimate.

Buck Fush

I understand Bush is personally in charge of the 800 billion dollars.

Personally in charge.

My representatives in congress owe me an apology and an explanation.

ROFLM**O......Hey, George...... when is the wizard going to get back to you about a brain?

Cheney is and has been running things.
Is it any wonder the Senate took the bailout bill to the floor after being defeated in Congress.
Being VP also makes him the President of the United States Senate.

Just in case...

Toilet paper in your pantry? I thought it belonged in the linen closet or under the bathroom lavatory, but I get your drift.

Bush said not once, but twice that he prefers a dictatorship so long as he is the dictator. The son of a bitch is not going to let the power he holds go so easily into the night, especially if Senator Barack Obama is elected.

For once I agree with is Dumbness. Having him in charge removes all doubt about exactly who has been stupid enough to get us into this mess (although he did have some help from his friends).

Bush is scared out of his skin Obama will get in and find out what a shambles he's made.

He's bombing anything that moves in Pakistan hoping for a luck shot on Bin Laden.

If he were to kill Bin Laden a month before the election after 8 years of trying, most folks would see it as a crass stunt - it would only hurt the Republicans in the election.

In that regard, he's boxed in.

I don't think he wants to get Bin Laden. I think he has a deal with the Bin Laden family to let him survive. Remember it was the Bin Laden family that helped him bail out of one of his failed businesses. They had a bunch a markers on him long before he was ever elected.

"...he was glad it was happening under his presidency, because he had a good group of people in D.C. working for him..."

And they're "doin' a heckuva job."

Notwithstanding the article, George W. Bush began his presidency not with the Twin Towers attacks, but by spending most of his first year doing nothing but letting the corporate run the country, while he spent most of his time on vacation.

You are correct... I used to make fun of him all the time for spending all of his time on the golf course and going on holiday.... those were the days, when we all just thought he was just an idjit instead of the very dan gerous man he turned out to be........

I believe he spent more time "on vacation" during his first year and a half than the previous two presidents combined. I don't blame him, since he left the running of the government up to the republican congress and their corporate overlords.

We're all agreed that it's irrelevant how dumb Bush is, because after all, he's just a front man for what the corporations want to do about all this, right?

So why are we giving this corporate front man 101 more days to do what he likes with the economy?
