GOP Leaders Worried McCain Headed For Defeat

New York Times:

After a turbulent week that included new disclosures about Gov. Sarah Palin and signs that Senator John McCain was struggling to strike the right tone for his campaign, Republican leaders said Saturday they were worried that Mr. McCain was heading for defeat unless he brought stability to his presidential candidacy and settled on a clear message to counter Senator Barack Obama.

Again and again, party leaders said in interviews that while they still believed that Mr. McCain could win over voters in the next 30 days, they were concerned that he and his advisers seemed to be adrift in dealing with an extraordinarily challenging political battleground and a crisis on Wall Street.

Right now Fox News Channel and the GOP are basing their counter attack to Obama's gains by looping continuous segments about ACORN voter fraud and Obama's links to Ayers segments as intensely as they ran Rev Wright.

This about their only hope in the face of a major Obama gaffe or national security issue.

i think its just outrageous that none in the media is talking about sarah palins abuse of power!! it pisses me off beyond belief that shes going to get away with this! the media would rather talk about bill ayers, and his relationship to obama. why is the media apparently not concerned about this abuse of power as govenor?? shes talking about expanding the powers of the vice president! if she will use her power as govenor to pursue her personal vendettas, whats to stop her from the same as vp? it should scare the hell out of people to think about her as vp! its scary also to think about how much power her husband todd had in alaska! isnt anyone concerned what he would do if she was vp? i think its such crap that no one in the media is talking about her and her husbands ties to the alaska indepence party! wtf! they want to rip one of the stars off our flag people! why is no one talking about this??!! theres a video where sarah palin is adrressing the indepence party convention! the media is so wrong to help mccain smear obama by always talking about ayers, but refusing to report on all the dirt on sarah palin and mccain! how are they getting away with this? people should be really terrified of a palin /mccain presidency! why arent more people angry about this??

The only folks still clinging to the McCain/Palin ticket are those that are infantile -- arrested in their development. They think, it is no big deal that one who holds a public office abuses power, for goodness sake, the brother in law, was tazing the step son.

As if, other's in public office haven't faced more hedious things, but yet, never seemed to see fit to abuse their power.

2) Greatly reduced voltage
3) Gives enough shock to know you have used it correctly, described as a "tingle" by the manufactuer
