ABC: "Palin Makes Troopergate Assertions That Are Flatly False"

On Saturday, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin twice spoke to reporters about the so-called "Troopergate" scandal and the investigative report on whether she had abused her power in trying to get her sister's ex-husband Mike Wooten fired as a state trooper, and for firing Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan one year after she, her staffers, and her husband Todd began unsuccessfully pressuring Monegan to let Wooten go.

Palin spoke on the phone with Alaska reporters about the report. The McCain-Palin campaign only allowed one question per reporter. The journalists came from the Anchorage Daily News, KTVA-Channel 11 and KTUU-Channel 2. No follow-ups were allowed.

Guilty isn't a negative term,rogue governor,rogue VP candidate,nothing negative there either?When most people hear about about a rogue anything coming their way, they're checking their revolver make sure it's fully loaded and the safety's off.I wonder if this family has ever taken an interest in anyone else's problems with a state trooper?I guess she had the bad luck of having the only dangerous one on the force in her family and she should be congratulated on her bravery in dealing with the matter.BTW,what does it say about a governor who isn't even able to keep a "DANGEROUS" state trooper off the payroll?

I think this is more frightening than just supposed denial- this feels to me like continued attempts at propaganda directed at their base who isn't actually reading the news and listening only to them.

Why are they not being called out for propaganda? That's what it is, isn't it? Propaganda and hate speech.
