Hillary Speech Ashes Of Bushes
?>

In a passionate speech introducing Joe Biden at a campaign rally in Scranton, Pennsylvania this afternoon, Hillary Clinton gave a strong endorsement to Barack Obama by celebrating the end of the Bush administration, shouting:

"Make no mistake about it. We've done it before and we will do it again. America will once again rise from the ashes of the Bushes."

It's the second time in the last week that she's used the dramatic line - last Monday, she said that "America can rise again as we have before from the ashes of the Bushes" in a forceful speech at the 8th Annual Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Committee Luncheon in New York City.

This afternoon, she also slammed John McCain and the Bush administration's response to the financial crisis, criticizing them for bailing out large companies while "millions of people are losing their homes and jobs every single day! Where's their bailout?"

And she said that sending Republicans back to Washington to clean up the economic mess was like "sending a bull to clean up the china closet. They broke it and we're not buying it anymore."

Biden, demonstrating again that he is the Obama campaign's pit bull, slammed the McCain campaign's recent attacks that focused on Obama's association with Bill Ayers, accusing the Republican candidate of "relying on political stunts instead of offering solutions" and calling McCain "erratic."

The Democratic vice-presidential nominee shook his head as he noted "the ugly inferences and unbecoming personal attacks that have been directed and launched by the McCain campaign."

And he mocked Sarah Palin's record of questioning how much of a role man-made causes had to do with global warming: "How the heck are you going to solve a problem if you don't know what's causing it?"

Hillary is a Force 10 in Obama's campain. It is a big Plus point for the Democrates, it shows unity , party integrity and clarity on important Issues facing united states today .Eight years ago the US economy was in trillionplus, there was no unnessary wars,us citizens were respected all over the world as saviours and leaders. all of this under democratic Clinton Leadership. on the Contrary Bush Republicans collective wisdom Has in last eight years only brough shame, deafets, finanacial let downs, Gods Wrath and Misery in millions of Americans homes and families; I am actually surprised that there are few percentage voters who still support REPUBLICAN MACCAIN. It is not sufficinet to say '" I am not Bush"' on live telivision but to come up with your actions and deeds on records for last eight years. It is a shame at the highest level to lie on live television to attract american voters suppor t .I have conviction that the us voters are intellegent and mature enough to reject such tricks by Maccain and Republicans.

The Obama Campaign has picked a formidable ally in the name of Hillary Clinton. If people think that Joe Biden is a pitbull, then Hillary would be a tiger. She was absolutely vicious with her cutting remarks about the McCain administration. She goes for the jugular every time. Go Hillary! Vote for Obama and Biden for 2008!!!!

I wish Biden and Obama would make use of the global warming "need to understand the cause to find the solution" argument with respect to Iraq. By letting McCain "turn the page" or "look forward", they are allowed to ignore what --and more importantly, who--got us into this mess. The same argument--that you can't find the solution if you don't understand the cause--applies.

I think Obama will give Hilary whatever jobs she wants because knows that she will be fantastic no matter which job she gets. Can you the imagine the dynamica of Obama, Biden and Hilary running the White House together. They would probably get more done than any administration in HISTORY>

But she is in many private settings. If this is the best they can bring, she and Bubba should just go home and continue preening in their Imax-sized mirrors.

Don't think that she ever was. However, her inner circle was, and remains, suspect.

Bill was less than generous with his praise for Obama, but that has come to be SOP for him. Hillary rocked it with her speech and nobody picked up on Biden taking a swipe at Palin when he mentioned "abuse of power". He said is several times in reference to something else, but when he said nothing is worse than abusing your power, I felt it was a direct slap at Palin.

I’m glad that Hillary is campaigning very passionately for Obama-Biden ticket! If Obama wins on Nov 4th, he will be a two (2) term President, the democrats will control the White House for 16 years because when Obama term is up, Hillary, it’s your turn to continue taking this great Nation on the correct course for another 8 years…We deserve for our children and the next generation. Let’s get out and vote for Obama everyone and send the Republicans and their failed policies to its rightful place...The cemetery….

We never got out of them. Thanks to you're hubby, we had deregulation of the phone companies, the repeal of the Glass-Steagel Act and NAFTA. Sounds pretty mavericky and neoconny to me.

Yermammy,

My job was outsourced and I don't blame Bill Clinton a bit. Just remember that Bill Clinton had a REPUBLICAN CONGRESS to deal with and there were other proposals that never made it into law!

Fact is that, at the close of The Clinton Administration we were in better shape then we are today..

And don't forget that there is just a bare minimum of a democratic congress at the moment, there are enough Republicans to screw things up:(

Who do I blame?

I blame George W Bush and his cronies along with my company Panasonic and The ITC Group, Inc.

Next question?

Does blaming solve the problem? I don't think so.

Dear Hillary, you're such an inspiration to us all, and you don't know how much you are appreciated. I will forever be your number one supporter.
Thanks for standing behind Obama, You will be victorious when you context for the Presidency again. I can assure you that I will do more than I'm doing for Obama right now in my State of Minnesota when it is your turn to govern us.
You are a true leader. God bless you and God bless the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Thank you Senator Clinton.

We fight, we argue, we say our points ... but at the end, we proud American Democrats we unite and rally for our candidate.

Thank you!

I did not support Hillary, but my impression of her gets better each day that she steps up to the plate for Obama. It must be very hard to do, but by doing it she gains the respect and gratitude of many. I may well support her in 8 years, assuming two Obama terms. Also, McCain's choice of Palin was a slap in the face to all women, including Hillary. Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton. She's not even close.

President Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton have the sole obligation to support the Democratic Party and the policies that they are responsible for formulating in the 90s and in the insuing years up until the present time. Obama has enlisted former Clinton administration members and has posted these policies on his website. Your assumption that they have to support Obama personally is insulting to those of us who wanted her to be the Democratic candidate. If Obama can't win this election without them, he doesn't deserve to be President of the United States. I realize that the requirement you are imposing on the Clintons is just a way to gloat because David Axelrod was able to use race-baiting and character-assassination to deny these two people the goal they had set for themselves to rescue the Country from the Republican administration of George W. Bush just as they did from George H. W. Bush in 1992.
To compare this sitting United States Senator to Governor Sarah Palin is another insult that is really a weird way of bashing the Clintons even more.
If Obama can not win the Presidency on his own then blame yourselves because you helped to nominate the wrong candidate and deserve all of the blame in a year when the Democratic nominee should have been a shoo-in.

FVMA - Agree completely

foreffectivegovernment - regardless of the situation they are presenting a united front - which is more than the GOP are doing right now. Regardless of the candidate this was going to have to happen.

Honestly - Hillary DIDNT WIN THE PRIMARIES. Just move on! No one is belittling her - she just didnt win!I

Lets look forward. If Hillary and Bill can eat some humble pie for the greater good of the country and the democratic movement - then maybe you should too. A United front at this stage is only going to help - harking on about the past isn't going to help anyone.
